I really enjoyed this game! I like the series of events, although some of them got a bit repetitive.

Beautiful game! Loved the art and music. It gave me real Secret of Mana vibes, and I loved that game. The "it was all a dream" part definitely made it fit the theme. Great work!

Great game! Really fun, and I'm impressed with how many levels you were able to put together during a single week. This really feels like it could become a full-length game!

I really enjoyed this game! The "remember it's not real" mechanic worked well, and I think the aggressiveness of the enemies was just right, even if their spawning did sometimes make it difficult to plan routes. The jumps felt nice and just floaty enough. Great work!

I really liked the graphics. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to kill the slimes or just try to outrun them - it seemed like running was a lot easier, but then the knife-shooting mechanic didn't really make any sense, and having both WASD and arrow controls was a little challenging. But still very impressive to put together in a week!

A fun and surprisingly tricky game! I really liked the transitions between the levels. I found it pretty hard, so you might want to leave the "true" path onscreen for just a moment longer - but overall, I found it really fun!

This was a beautiful game! I loved how the mechanics worked, and how good all of the physics of the jumps felt. The art was also beautiful. It didn't seem to totally match the theme, but other than that it's a wonderful game and very impressive that you made it in a week!

this was a really beautiful game - I loved the art style, and the moving the character around felt really good. The puzzles were fairly basic but moving through the world felt so good that it was still really enjoyable. Nice job!

I really wanted to love this game - I was sold on it from the title alone! But it needed an in-game tutorial or something to help the player figure out what to do. Otherwise you're kind of left floundering through trial and error, and the instructions didn't help enough. But what a great concept!

I LOVED this game - my favorite one I've played from the jam so far. The interpretation of the theme is so beautiful and moving, and the art style works perfectly with it. Fantastic writing, too. The emotional notes really landed for me, especially tearing the painting.

From a mechanical perspective, I occasionally had trouble grabbing and combining items - especially when I was in the cave, whenever I tried to grab the paintbrush it moved me out of the room. And there was a bug at one point where the danish was sort of floating in midair (screenshot below). But I thought it all worked really well, and this is a truly special game.

cute game! I do think a tutorial of some sort would help the player figure out how to get started in the selection phase.

I loved this! beautiful art and always great to see another writing-heavy story game - it seems like there aren't many of those in GameJams!

cute game! I had to change the resolution a lot, which made it a little hard to see, but I really liked the aesthetic (which fits the theme well!)

I enjoyed the first level but I had to change the resolution/zoom on my browser window a lot to be able to play it!

I'm also on a mac and I couldn't figure out how to get the game to load. Maybe you could include some instructions somewhere? It looks like a lot of fun!

thank you so much for this detailed feedback! we were thinking about having the tiles have slightly different shapes for different parts of speech, but we couldn't make it work with the GameJame constraints. But we'd love to add those features!

Fun game with great controls!

Very cute and fun game! It reminded me of Portal. I did get myself into a few impossible situations though

I love the shift-key mechanic - a really fun game!

I love the art! Nice bullet hell-style adventure game.

Beautiful art! I found the battle system surprisingly hard, but it was fun.

an amazing line of poetry! thank you, this made me feel great to read :)

This was hilarious. Thanks for reminding me of the weirdest 2020 trend.

I really enjoyed this game! Really creative and fun idea.

Cute game! I love the art. Have you thought of adding some time pressure or another mechanic to raise the stakes?

A cute and fun puzzle game! I can definitely imagine how it could be longer.

Fun and addictive! I love the audio effect for the bottle selection and the high score counter.
