Really cool environment , but is there a way to win or do you always get killed. First time playing is a guaranteed death with all the things you need to memorize it took me three times before I really knew what I was doing but even then it felt like the sedatives had absolutely not effect, and replacing the uranium didn't seem to do anything, and above all that the pipe kept bursting after a few seconds of me fixing it. Fun game and prospect but I just don't know if I'm missing something or if you really are just sitting there waiting to die doing useless puzzles to try and stop it from happening all just to live 1 second longer. Had fun playing it just wish there was a condition in which I would survive.
Great aesthetic on your game the music really lends well to the creepy feeling and enhances the jump scares nicely done.

Cool game like the shadow figures and the different interactions when they pop-up on the screen. Did end up walking through the walls which ended up helping me reach the end quite easily, but didn't seem intentional. Though the music and aesthetic really help with the creepy feeling of it all making the jump scares of them popping up on your screen all the more potent. A other small addition that would be nice would just be button sound effects or bringing the music on to the start menu. Thought my audio wasn't working at first since there was a music volume option, but I wasn't hearing anything. Nice game had fun time playing it and definitely got jump scared a couple times.
Here is a link to my game not sure if I missed the marathon or not. https://itch.io/jam/scream-jam-2023/rate/2330599
Fun to play but was quite difficult specially the area with the 3 red dots above the door, swear it saw me no matter where I was even crouched down barely looking out from the side a hiding spot. Think somethings that would really help is the audio being more obvious when the enemies are farther away really hard to tell if there right next to you or on the other side of the room to know when to sneak by, and possibly them not instantly seeing you if your crouched. Alternatively I could just get better as well, but eitherway really nice game though specially liked the camera effects and definitely scary with the lighting, music, and above all the monsters. I like how you had them do a prep animation then charge at you a nice touch.
Nice environment though the sound effects in the background were a bit odd in particular the baby crying didn't seem to have much relevance to the scene. Biggest complaint is the quiz if your going to keep it I suggest having a text book you can click a certain key to look at while in the game and have the important information bold or stand out in some way. Would've liked to seen the graves intractable as well, but nice work inside the church was nicely put together and glad I was able to interact with most everything.
Really impressive game liked the gameplay though I did kill the npc's since they kept following me popping up text so when it reached 6+ nothing happened not sure if that is just what the ending is or if me killing the npc's messed it up. Really nice list of spells and glad the enemies improved along the way as well, helped keep the game fun and kept me engaged wondering what the next spell I'll get will be and what new enemy will appear. Few things I'm unsure about is the spells sometimes just went through the enemies only seemed to get consecutive shots off if I made sure to get head shots or right in the middle of their chests. The fence in the middle of the map was only collidable on the side the gate was on all the other sides you just went through which was a bit odd, and I was pretty lost overall on what I was supposed to be doing the stones kind of just told me to kill stuff so I did and then nothing really ended up happening after 6 again if it is because of me killing the npc's my bad ignore my comments about the end. Though I do feel some more direction would be helpful. My final comment is in the theme as someone has already mentioned it doesn't really fit the horror theme it is more fantasy action adventure if anything.
There were a couple other things I might change but they were minor like having spells already obtained not drop but nothing major the ones listed were the big things that I came up with while playing it. Hope some of this is helpful feedback something akin to what you were looking for. Had a fun time playing your game specially in the variety of spells, well done.
Left a pretty long comment sorry about that but here is mine if your up to playing it.

Game is fun and really like that you made the player the monster with having a third-person view making moving around the scene really enjoyable in the eerie foggy environment. Enjoyed killing the people to heal while avoiding lights was lots of fun play. Though I couldn't make it past the corn maze so I do apologies on that front the camera kept zooming in (I suspect it being due to the collisions of the 2D corn sprites blocking the ray trace of the camera making it zoom in to the player because the player is technically behind it, but once I moved or turned it would quickly zoom back out since I was no longer behind the corns collision.) The zooming in and out made getting through the maze quite headache inducing having the camera zoom in and out repeatedly at least for me. Tried angling it which did help it a bit, but made getting through the maze a lot harder not turning the camera to see the open spots and just running into walls. Overall really like the game the maze was the only rough part just need the camera to not zoom in and out while in it. (If the problem is what I described then the camera's ray-trace would just need to ignore the corns collision to stop it from zooming in and out when behind it.)
A lot of this review is just me describing my thoughts on why the corn maze causes the camera to zoom in and out, and how I would fix it that being if it was caused by the reason described. Which becomes nullified if that isn't the case. Though for the game as I was describing at the start I really enjoyed the environment and game play it was pretty intuitive with wasd and you describe well how the attack function works, and once I got hurt by the light a couple times I pretty much got the idea of how that worked. So overall fun game and well done sorry for this long review, and I might try again later to get past the corn maze and reach the end.
Looks like a really nice looking game with fun mechanics can't wait to give it go.

Fun game and a cool concept enjoyed having to strategize where I thought it would go next and place not only myself but the candy accordingly. Nice model for the boogeyman when it looks at you and charges to your location definitely feels like its going to eat you. One thing that would make it look a bit cooler would be if the lights went dim like nighttime has fallen when the boogeyman enters the room. Would definitely increase the fear and spooky factor of it. Had fun playing it nicely done.
Love the games look the art is really nice and eerie. The creatures pulling the player is a nice touch, and the jump scares are spot on specially when I saw the large monster that thing is terrifying looking. Great aesthetic and the sounds were spot on to really bring home that creepy eerie feeling. Nice work enjoyed playing it.
Nice game love the aesthetic of it, and fun game play.

Really cool aesthetic with the 3D environment and characters that centipede was a really nice addition I knew not to mess with that thing for sure. After dying a bit one thing I wish would be changed is repeating the cut scene after you die. Having it play once when you first click play is nice but every time you die makes it annoying. Also small touch but making the text appear close to when it is being said the text shows faster than the speech which makes it feel a bit off. Game play wise I had a blast running around collecting the items and using there special effects to kill the monsters using my sense ability to track them.
Nice game well done.
Cool game I like the different character models and intro cut-scene. Had some problems with the game when trying to add things to the plate they wouldn't be added or items farther of would be taken with it which made it hard to get a plate done right. Though overall was a fun game and well made nice job.
Fun game love throwing away incriminating documents. Game play was great wandering around trying to find all the documents and throw them away in separate bins while everyone else is going insane simple but fun. The music, sound effects, and scene created an eerie aspect, but it kind of fell through when you saw what they were afraid of and it just kind of standing there until you got close enough. I would agree with the person before me that the ending did feel a bit lacking with a lot of build-up I was expecting something a bit more dramatic at the end like some kind of big jump scare.
Well done was a fun game to play, and was always entertained wondering what would happen the next day.
Nice game had fun playing it. I liked the artwork of the enemies and large amount of choices you had.

Nice game ran smoothly with nice aesthetics, not sure if options menu was supposed to appear or not but if there isn't one might just remove the button from the menu screen. Tried to click it and it just sent me to a blank screen with no way out had to manually close the program. Liked the running part at the end it reminded me of the offline dinosaur game for when you don't have internet and try looking something up.

Fun game; the map felt quite empty which helped in getting me lost, but I feel some small props sitting around would help liven up the space. The color scheme is a bit bright for a horror game maybe some darker colors and a small area light around the player character to give a more spooky feeling to the game would help. I like the camera usage with having the enemies continuously following the player as you move through different areas. Though some of the walls I couldn't see from separate areas, which made it a bit harder due to running into walls thinking I would move into the next section, but instead having to move along it to find the entry way into the next room. So making sure the walls are shown in each connecting room would be nice just to know where the entry way is. Some rooms have it others don't on certain parts just making sure they all do would be nice. All these suggestions are just that suggestions taken them or leave them they're just my thoughts on how it could be improved, I enjoyed the game none the less, well done.
Some screen static or eerie noises behind me would've helped make it feel more spooky and less like just playing Tetris in a poorly lit room, and the Tetris music stopped after a couple minutes of playing which left it just silent for the rest of the time if this is intentional then definitely think the eerie ambient sounds in the background would help fill the silence. Do like the aesthetic of the scene though.
