Thanks for playing!

Good question! I could've made it more obvious, but the rock you can pick up has a shine to it at the top left of the screen, or you could pick up food at the top right, or seaweed at the bottom right. You pick them up by standing near them for 2 seconds. You can't pick up items dropped from AI fish.

Yaaa, one thing I struggled with was making the pickup effect obvious. Basically you have to stand near the rock/algea/food for 2 seconds to pick up the item, and then you can swim into the filter or drop it over the filter with E. Thanks for the feedback and playing the game! I really appreciate it

Really polished for being made in a game jam! The dialogue typing effect was perfect and the fade in/out of the bartender was really funny. If I had to give any feedback, you bring the bartender in occasionally to give a drink, I would've loved to actually see the drink too, your art style is so cool! Great work overall!

This game is super polished for being made in a game jam! The only feedback I have is the text speed is really slow and the next button just skipped the dialogue instead of showing it all. Other than that, the world zoom in effect is really cool, and the I always love games with the typing text effect. Great work!

Crazy that you made this in two hours! The only feedback I have is in games like this it's really important enemies can't spawn on top of you. Other than that, I liked the title art a lot and the fade in effect on the fish was cool. Great work for a two hour game!

Wow! This game really feels like a fever dream, especially with the cool mirror reflection walls you have, I don't know many first person games that let you see your reflection so that was a nice touch. I also agree with the other person that the art you added to the itch page was a really nice touch! The only the feedback I have is I felt sometimes the lighting made it difficult to tell where I was going, which might be what you are going for, but it also meant I was just picking random directions hahaha. Great game overall!

Thanks for playing! And ya, the pickup I wasn't sure the best way to go about doing it because I didn't want to make it too obvious when something was being picked up as the fisherman already has a slightly easier time than the fish. Do you have any suggestions?

Oh woops! Sorry, I think I described it incorrectly, I didn't see a button while I was playing in between stages to see the leaderboard is what I meant. The leaderboard in the menu worked great though!

The world generation was really cool! The amount of stats was interesting as well. The only feedback I'd have is if you had more time a mini map would've helped a lot in terms of making the game feel more fair to the player as sometimes I'd go down a long corridor just for it to be a dead end and then get blasted by crabs on the way out hahaha. Overall, a really cool game! Keep up the great work.

The coins were satisfying to pick up, especially by the fact that they increased your speed which added a lot more skill to the game. I loved the inclusion of the leaderboard, is there an easy way of doing that in Unity? The only feedback I'd say is, I would've loved to have a way to see my ranking in the leaderboard without having to reload the page. Overall, a really fun game and I could totally see this game being worked on more in the future!

Ya, I'm a sucker for asymmetrical games. Hahaha, ya, one of my biggest weaknesses is forgetting about the tutorial until the very end. If you were to make a tutorial for this game, how might you go about doing it? I appreciate the feedback!

The levels were all really fun to playthrough so great work on the level design! The only feedback I'd have is consider adding parallax backgrounds to make the game feel a little less flat, and I'm not sure what engine you worked in, but lighting in 2D platforms really adds a lot and can be easy to add in depending on what you used to make this. Overall, great work! I'd love to see more levels in the future

Honestly, I tend to just use https://freesound.org/ and then often I'll go through and add filters/effects to the audio in audacity cause it's also free and pretty easy (and I'm not an audio guy, hahaha). I look forward to seeing what else you add to your game!

Super polished game with a really satisfying explosion when destroying boats. I would've loved to be able to pull a boat under water myself if I dragged them down, maybe for less points, but it would've made me feel more like a sea monster hahaha. Other than that, the only feedback I'd have is some of the buttons I were hard to find/understand (like the menu one, but maybe I'm just a bozo). Great work overall, loved the game!

Hahaha, yaaaa, especially for an online game jam, but I was working with a friend so it was easy to test, but I'm sure it will mean a lot of people don't get the game. I appreciate the feedback!

Hahaha, ya, I always forget to do a tutorial until the end and then don't have enough time to make it actually understandable. I appreciate the feedback!

The visuals are definitely the highlight in this game, I loved how the fish looked! The only feedback I'd have is in a cozy type of game, art is important, but so is audio. There are some great free audio websites you can use to fill that gap and make this super satisfying! Great work overall!

I always enjoy some rage games! I didn't quite get how I was cloning myself, and the text was a little blurry, but other than that, cool game!

The visuals in this game are super cool (especially the intro)! I also love how you did the tutorial section and the platforming felt satisfying. The only feedback I have is certain parts feel like I should be able to make the jump but I can't without the wall jump (which makes sense when teaching wall jump, but in general game play it doesn't feel so good to miss a jump that you think you can make just to realize it's impossible). Maybe some sort of visual hierarchy to the platforms would help! Overall, Great game, I really enjoyed playing this one!

WOW, the visuals are crazy in this game, I love them. If I had to give any feedback, I'd say some of the enemies are hard to read when they are going to act. Overall, great work!

This game has a lot of content for being made in a week! The codex especially was a really nice touch, I always love that in games. The only feedback I have is that the only way I could see what a tower did was after buying it in the codex and I would've like a way to see what it actually did before buying it and have the codex more of a collection type of system. Overall great work and I really enjoyed the game!

Overall a polished game, especially considering it was made in a week! I loved the art style and liked how whenever I bought something I could actually see it appearing. The only feedback I have is the difficulty curve could use some work in my opinion as the hardest part of the game was the very beginning and then late game I had no reason not to just keep buying money makers before amassing a horde of fish. Great work all around!

How did you do the shadows? That was a nice touch! At first I thought some fish weren't working, then realized certain fish eat certain things which was a lot of fun to figure out, the only feedback I have is maybe make it a little more clear that not all the fish eat the same food in the game. Great game overall!

I love the blob fishes effects when it lands + the cutscene was a really nice touch! The only feedback I have is I only needed to buy the jump upgrade twice and I was able to win, but I wanted to keep upgrading myself, hahaha. Great work!

We did have very similar games, great work! I think the only feedback I have is the UI can be a bit hard to read as it's the same blue on blue. The art style was awesome!

Was it doing this in full screen mode as well? I set the game up for 1920x1080, but didn't think about smaller monitors so that might be why. Whoops!

The scene transitions was a really nice touch and I loved the art style! Only thing that was tripping me up was I wasn't sure when to harvest. Overall, great work!

Very creative mechanic! I don't know how you'd fix this, but one thing I found myself doing was only shooting on the horizontal axis as it was too hard to consistently try to use wasd as it doesn't rotate by 1 degree at a time. Great work overall!

any game with a rat gets my seal of approval, good work!

Probably one of my favorite games I've played so far! The level where you first get access to the wall is very satisfying. Great work!

Maybe one day we can finally beat back against the frogs. Good work son.

Another soldier fighting the good battle against the frogs, good work son!

Thank you for the feedback! Do you have any pointers on how I could make the controls better?

If only humanity had the help of your boulder maybe we could've pushed back against the bullfrog onslaught

Any Frog whose errors take ten years to correct is quite a Frog.

Ayeee, nice to hear from you big man! Your game was super unique as well!
