the game randomly crashes while clicking "innovate" (while probably not meeiting some criteria) I really like the idea otherwise and enjoyed the little of the game I played!

the game looks nice, the 2D props are sometimes confusing as they go invisible from the side. also the pause menu didnt work, i was still moving the camera instead of being able to choose the options. i would have probably made the spawn a safe zone or made it wave based since I had no time to read what the upgrade in the shop was doing or shop in peace. other than those minor nitpicks, very impressive!
Wow, you submitted this almost two days before the deadline? that's mad, hat's off for that for sure. The game is visually really nice, nice soundtrack and effects and it has some basic story that makes it interesting. my only gripe woul be poor visibility/contrast of enemies with the background, that makes it pretty hard to dodge them, there is just way too much coins/enemies on the screen. I also feel like the game would be better suited for a vertical format.
Thank you for the kind comment! Yeah, it's a bummer the issue is caused by the snake enemy being assigned to the wrong spawner on wave 4. It's supposed to spawn bottom right and clear a new pathway for enemies from the third spawner, but since it spawns on the second spawner and doesn't clear the pathway the pathfinding check at the start of wave 5 fails and sends the game into a halt. It's an unfortunate mistake that occured in a rush to get some waves configured in time using an improvised wave management sytem during the final rush-hour. Hopefully after the Jam's results are known, we're gonna be able to patch it out and get some of the sounds and sprites in that we had finished, but just weren't able to implement in time. also, the gameplay is missing some much needed polish as well. but it was very fun creating all this with my friends!
