GBA stands for Game Boy Advance. It is a 32bit, handheld console developed by Nintendo. The jam requires you to make a game for the console (i.e., the Game Boy Advance) within the stipulated time (2 months and 13hrs as the writing of this reply), using the tools allowed by the jam hosts (read the jam page). Mouse Wheel to change weapon. We ran out of time to polish the game lol

Hello!

The game play was smooth and a felt just like a galactica arcade game from the 90's but there weren't any original mechanics implemented. Reusing the same art for enemies but varying their damage also made it difficult to know how to strategize around them as an enemy could be destroyed in one hit or take 100 hits to take down. Would love to see some fun updates by the dev!

Hello!

This game seems like an interesting idea but the camera controls made me nauseaus. Everything was too jerky, or (if encountering a bug) the camera could hardly move. I think this type of game also heavily relies on good AI so right now, I can't say that it's a finished game. Please keep with it, however, I think this could be really interesting and a lot of fun. The hiding behind walls mechanics is great and if here was more of a tutorial this would be something I would buy on steam!

Hello!
Audio cues are great but the theme feels nonexistent without a timer of some kind. If there was a timer for when the boss attacks would change, I would have given the theme a higher rating. At the moment it feels almost nonexistent and the knowledge of the time changes does little unless counting out loud to plan around.

Hello!
Great game but the ten second timer doesn't do this game any favors. The reload speed was too slow to maintain the game even when getting great shots. the sporadic movements of characters without any warnings meant I often shot at a character who was stationary and would move just in time to dodge my bullet and causing me to run out of time

Hello!

If you attempt to ricochet a bullet off of a surface, it will most definitely get stuck in a parallel line preventing the level from being finished, you can retry the level over again but the slow pacing of the game and the fact that you need to stop to fire a bullet makes each attempt feel tedious.

Very interesting art style, and the upgrade mechanic is very satisfying.Would love to see more bullet hell elements. The sfx can be a little harsh at times.

Hello!
Fun little idea that could have used more polish. Thought I was doing good but there's no audio cue for taking damage, I can't tell when hits land or not.
Good Luck! Keep making games.

Hello!
I think the slow movement has potential but it gets frustrating very quickly. Also, adding even simple sounds would help you convey the tone of the game better.
Good Luck! Don't stop making games.
