Thank you :) yeah, that's the best of jams, I always learn something new.

I never thought that being a bureaucrat was so fun...
Heart, please.
And that guy went around in circles to end up in hell XDXDXD I like how fun the certificates are.
The graphics are good, as is the music, I liked the game.
The only thing I had trouble with was that the cursor is very big and I didn't know where to click, it covered too much area.
Thanks, I worked on the AI so they wouldn't all go to the same point to hide, and when you move away they come back out, they might go a bit fast, I didn't have time to test it much, and it was supposed to be a forest, so I couldn't design the level and it ended up like a meadow.
Thanks for playing.
It's a shame about the time, I know what it feels like, it happens to me a lot in jams, but it helps to experiment and create new ideas, I think that continuing the project, changing emo for anxiety, and finishing it could really hit the market, even with some changes in the gameplay it could be a game I would play on Android.
Nice graphics, simple to understand gameplay, but it has several bugs that made the experience bad for me, to start with the upgrades suddenly change and for the worse when you are already on top (I think maybe there is a change in the object and it affects all instances), when you change screens you appear directly on an upgrade, if you are unlucky it is on the bad one, it should not change the scenario with the newly picked object but wait a bit to avoid it.
But nice.
P.S.: In my game I have a minigame that also has the WS mechanic to move XDXDXD
For a visual novel it's quite limited in terms of images, but then again, in a short jam you can't do much... Some characters lose their items and you can see it graphically, but Iroda has the camera all the time. At first I was a bit bored, until the murder happened I was not interested, although there's a sound bug that makes a music that should stop to start another one not stop and it's been bothering me until the black screen of reading the reviews. I suspected the old man because nobody uses a magnifying glass and a monocle at the same time... everyone who uses a monocle is usually evil.
PS: I haven't played again, it took me too long to see who really killed poor Ooga :'( F for him, good guy.
I don't like the way the gameplay changes in every scene, I didn't know what to do and I had to look at the guide for every step, it would be nice to have a little explanation before each minigame like in Wario Ware, I removed it in the third phase because walking so slowly makes me anxious. And I have a broken mouse wheel, it doesn't turn properly.
Apart from that, the art style caught my attention, even though the objects are not well placed and there are things above or below where they should be.
More than "emo scale" I would have called it "anxiety scale", I identify with the guy with the headphones XD
The cat moves a little fast and is a bit slippery, which bothers me a little, but I love the way it hits the ball with its paw.
The cat is very cute and I love its animations.
Then I realized that the pieces of wool reappear... that makes running around with the ball pointless... plus the game screenshot lies, it says more than 800 points but the ball is not very big, I have 600 and half of the ball has already gone off the screen XD
I thought it was a fun and original idea.
Thanks for the review :) I wanted to improve my dialogue code in game maker, and I found that doing a VN jam was the best way to it, that's why is not really a VN game with choices.
I still didn't decide how to do the dialogs about narrator explaining the action or putting the action between * action *, so I take your advice and in the future I'll stop doing the * thing.
Thank you very much for your review, I'm really glad you liked it up to that point. The truth is that it is not a story that I did to have a continuation, but I began to grow fond of the characters, and that there are few of them and they appear for a short time, maybe I will do a longer version that extends the story from the end perfect.
Hey, I did a mini game jam, it's so bad XD but everybody likes your tileset :)

It's free.
I'm glad you liked it, I always try to put some psychology and philosophy in the conversations so that they don't become so typical and are deeper than the typical visual novel ones, I would like this to be a prologue for a larger version, let's say 2 years older, that they be together with 16 years in high school and solve other cases... but first I have to finish the final characters, I made those as a reference so I could draw them later XD
I liked it a lot, the story starts out very typical, but as it progresses it becomes as interesting as a good book that you can't stop reading. In the first race, I think I chose everything wrong, I had to start the race from scratch several times XD, then it went better for me, it was very intense despite not having time running. What I did not understand is the hp, because I did not see any bar or anything that indicated the hp.
Pheobe is very crazy, but adorable, and I really liked Bayley, who I laughed the most with was Bee, and for a moment I thought he had a split personality until I realized she was his twin sister!
I really liked the ending, it makes me think that Harry Potter should have done something like that, put Draco and Harry to work together, maybe things would have been different...
I'm so sorry! when I played the game several times I didn't get those errors, it will be because being the one who programmed it I know how to get the complete good ending and I didn't test the other alternatives enough...
I did it in a way that some alternatives doesn't seem right, don't make promises to Belinda but then look at the pool, there's a variable on whether you promise not to look and you look, I think that's where it plays into the variable of go to see your uncle, I'll try correct it.
Thank you for playing it and the review :)
Thank you, your review makes me happy :)
There are different dialogues depending on the choices you make during the game, and two endings (good and bad) and and a short game over if you don't talk to your uncle often XD
A clue to know what ending you saw, if the ending song is vocal, it's the good one.
Good story! I love the background art, I really had fun reading it. Although it was a bit annoying to have to switch from the space bar to the mouse when a choice had to be made, can you set the text to advance with a click? It's not that it was a big problem, it's just a bit annoying, I liked your VN anyway.
