This is a really cozy game, congrats!

Thanks for taking the time to showcase it!! It's always fun to see someone play a game you make

(1 edit)

Who knew Candy Canes were the cure to mental trauma? Love it

Really enjoyed this one, love the humour, One mild nitpick I had was I wish the camera was centered ahead of Santa so you can see more of what's in front of you. But overall I was won over by the charm on this one

I definitly agree it goes a bit too fast, but I'm glad you enjoyed my programmer art lol

There's a lot of content here for a one week jam, very much enjoyed it

Fun little game, enjoyed the level design, would have loved to see more levels

There's something about the completely broken physics of this game that unironically made this incredibly enjoyable

Firefox

Cute!!

Really fun game! Love the addition of keeping track of everyone's high scores. I had some performance issues running it on my browser though but it was still fun to play despite that

Thanks for the really kind words! Glad to know you enjoyed my submission

This is real well polished, it sounds and looks awesome. Might try again on my quest to beat the first level later

This is really anxiety inducing lol

This is a pretty fun game to do quick

*mario3??????

Fun experiance! The puzzles were really fun! I felt really smart for solving a bunch of them. The art and the atmosphere are really well done, and even the way the itch page is written/designed helps draw you into the world.

I got through everything relatively smoothly until I got the third report. Had to watch a guide to figure out what the solution to that was. I might have been able to solve the final puzzle but the "clock" hint was a little too cryptic for me personally. Maybe if the lobby clock was in base 10 it would have been easy to notice that your clock was wrong which is clearly a hint, but the reason to the time difference wouldn't be obvious at first.

The upgrades have actual art attatched now, awsome! Also while I like my loadout idea, I do admitt this way is gonna make it much easier for future devs to work on game and balance it properly. Well done!

Hey, I don't have a lot of time for the jam today so I might not be able to do today at all, but I'll pick up one of yours if I have time

As a 3rd time jammer, yeah this one seems especially tough. It's supposed to be for fun though and no one finds burn out fun. Remeber to take brakes or even skip days if you need to.

Yep definitly didn't get round to any balancing lol.

Here's my branch of this: https://the-e21.itch.io/sandstorm-day-2-unity

Hope I didn't mess it up too much lol

Top down game where you play as a sandstorm:  https://the-e21.itch.io/sandstorm-day-2-unity

Ok, I'm going for this one. Today is your lucky day :)

You could ask blackthornprod if you can still submitt I guess. Worst that could happen is they say no

I would like to learn godot one day but tommorow for a 24 hour jam is not that day. Sorry

It's currently 11:04pm in my time zone, so I'm not doing any work for day 2 tonight. If you have a prototype that nobody downloaded then post it here and I'll pick one to work on in the morning. I use unity engine

Rip :(

Never mind, I found it  in the main submission's page

It should show up straigt away. I had the same problem though. It should have appeared in the submission feed but to make it appear in the main submissions page. Make sure the project type is set to "game" and then resubmit it

This is a cool idea, but it might also be good to say if you've picked a game in the comments of the game so that people don't have to check through everything in this thread to find an unpopular project

If you like github then here's a repo: https://github.com/The-E21/passthegamejam-jetpack

Personally think it might be fun to use a title that tells people vagely what the game is about but doesn't give too much away

I would. I mean I'm gonna use unity but it would be a pretty fun change of pace to continue a scratch game on one of the days tbh

This just crossed my mind aswell. There's litterly nothing stopping two people continuing the same demo from the previous day. On the one hand I think the branching is really cool, on the other hand it's probably going to result in a lot of projects being dumped that otherwise wouldn't have been

Won't lie, that was pretty funny lol

This is a really cool idea, but won the game on round 43 by spamming the WASD keys as fast as I could, which was a lot more effective than actually thinking and also hurt my wrist.

Welp, there goes my evening

Fun little speed game :). The controls are well programmed and mostly feel great and the map layout is pretty good. Only thing that bugged me was the sensitivity seems way too low for me, I had to move my mouse really far for just a small head turn. So turning that up by default or adding a sensitivity bar in a settings menu would go a long way. Other than that, I enjoyed playing this
