Very smooth controls, despite so many glitches of getting stuck in the wall XD

Submitted(+2)

I beat the game by spamming the grapple and flying around the map, was a good time

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it! 😄

I made a video of your game. It's at the 7:14 mark of this video.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for uploading it!

The visuals are cute, clean and the momentum you get from the grappling hook is very satisfying. Great game!

Developer

Thanks! That was one of the main objectives while developing this, that the hook had to felt great

We love to see you enjoyed our game, our programmers made their best in little to no time, I'm so proud of them :)

The intro is very very charming :3

In general the whole sounds and visuals are very adorable and they feel very great!

I sadly got stuck in the floor at one point and couldnt figure out how to get out of there. :D

Developer(+1)

only solution at the moment is to restart the run, sorry
We didn't had more time to investigate and fix this bug.

The team gave their best to deliver a game that felt great and looked good enough, your comment really help us to continue doing nice things, thank you :D

what an intro ! Really got me into the game
unfortunatley some wallglitch stop me at 3 presents of the end
Great work 🎄

Developer

Noooo that's so sad :(
We didn't had time to investigate and fix the bux that makes you go through walls when you are going really fast, I'm sorry...

We still hope you enjoyed your time playing our game, and appreciate your kind words, thank you!

The game was super cute! The crunching of the snow sounded so realistic, it was my favourite sound effect!

Developer(+1)

hahah something tells me you know the guy that recorded the snow SFX

Indeed, they are pretty great :)

I loved the game

Developer

Thaaanks!!!

In the end our goal was to do something fun and casual, we love to read that you liked it ^^

Wow what a cool and beautiful game, the intro was great to watch and the gameplay itself was so fun! it reminded my of SpeedRunners a little bit. great work.

I did find a bug that after the fifth present if you keep going left you can fall of the map and be stuck there forever

Developer

Honored to be compared to speedrunners, what a great game!

There are a couple bugs that could lock your progress, but the only solution for now is to restart the run. You can get any presents in any order, so you could avoid certaing map zones you dont like or that can give you trouble. Thank you for your feedback and for your time, both playing and commenting! We hope you've enjoyed it!

Really great job! your team did a pretty game! I love the mood, the design and the musics are really fun, I will need to inspire myself with these!

Developer(+1)

Well, I hope you get inspired with our work, because your job on Christmas Take-Off was phenomenal!

Thank you for your words :)

Developer(+1)

I'll add you right now

Amazing game. I loved the movement the most!! The only irritating part was how high the player could jump. You could make it a little higher.

Developer

The jump mechanic was introduced to avoid getting some players locked in certain zones, but we wanted to keep the grapple as the main mechanic of the game, so that's why you can only jump 1 tile per jump, with higher jumps some zones would be much easier while others get too hard . Still, if we continue to support the project we will take your feedback into account, it is very important to us! And we appreciate you taking the time to play and comment, thanks ^^

Submitted(+1)

I see. Well, grappling was the most fun part of it, so maybe the jump height was a good choice.

Submitted(+2)

Love the art style, love the SFX, love the gameplay. I love it all, amazing game! Congrats!

Developer

Many thanks, means a lot! Your game is pretty cool as well, don't know how you managed to make all that minigames in a week haha

Submitted(+1)

Thanks! I was behind schedule for a long time, but I went turbo mode over the weekend and somehow got it to work. Also polishing took a day and a half :D

Developer

you wouldn't believe how our game was 30h before the deadline HAHAHA

The art is amazing, I really liked the introduction.

Developer

Right!?? The team made some spectacular things in no time, I'm so proud of them <3

We hope you had fun with our game :)

Submitted(+3)

gorgeous artwork on this game! the grappling is rather interesting, but i seem to have broke a green present by dying as i collected it :)

Developer

Yeah, sometimes that happens hahaha

That's why we included 30 presents, you can skip 10 and still make it to the goal :P

While I had a hard time grappling my way through the stage, I loved the non-linear gameplay and how there are more than enough presents scattered throughout the stage for the player to collect. I also love the art for the game. Excellent job on your game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your words, hope the hard time you've had resulted in a fun experience :)

Submitted(+3)

I really like the speed you can accumulate with the grappling hook, feels super smooth. Cool little adventure. Unfortunately I got soft locked in a one tile space :(. Otherwise the visuals, music/sfx, and gameplay were pretty good!

Developer(+1)

Sadly, we weren't able to fix the clipping through walls while going at high speed in time for delivery, but the team fave its best and that's what matters ^^

thanks for your comment!
