I'm very happy you were able to submit your game and love how damned cute it is!

Thank you for working on your game and I'm glad you were able to submit it on time! This was really fun for what it was and I honestly wish it was longer. A few gripes here and there, the biggest one probably is that the end is a bit anti-climatic. Make a longer version :)

I'm glad you were able to submit your game in time and I really enjoy the animation on this little dude jumping around.  Can't say I had much fun but seems like a solid little slice of a game.

You know, I'm not sure this alien has the game given the lore that the game never goes into :)

Me too :)

Truly had a lot of fun playing this and I'm pretty sure I got most if not all of the endings. I'm pretty sure I got some endings that didn't make sense given my actions. (I don't want to say them here and spoil things for others) Regardless, It was fun and I'm glad you were able to submit!

While I do enjoy the "juice" that your game has, it was so short and so easy. A potential fix for the easy bypass would be to put a wall in that makes it so you can't proceed until you kill all enemies like Zelda or others. Maybe less health kits too. Regardless, I'm glad you submitted your game!

I'm glad you were able to submit your game and that I got to play it but it is just not the type of game I enjoy nor is it a great genre for a game jam. Your prime audience are people that are short on time and need to feel the fun upfront or else there's not a chance for them to experience everything you have to offer. Had fun for maybe a run or two then it just got tedious.

Did you export this correctly? I'm not an expert in Godot but I know that you shouldn't see all of your scene files from the player side.

He was thanking you for being peaceful :)

Thanks!

No need to feel sorry, the point is learn for next time right? :)

It was a silly game and it was kinda fun but I had a difficulty paying attention to the VO, maybe that's a personal issue on my end :) I'm glad you were able to submit it.  You submitted it early and yours was one of the first games from the jam that I played.

Thanks for being kind enough to play it! Yeah,  there is a small possibility I overscoped... hrmmmm.... Nahhhhhhhhhh :)

Very cute game, visuals, audio, and everything. While rough around the edges, I did have a pleasant experience overall. Glad you were able to submit it!

I'm glad you were able to finish your game! It is pretty simple but I had fun for a few minutes, thanks! I tried a few times but I couldn't get passed level 12 but it seems like the challenge doesn't really escalate beyond "more guys" unless something 12+ changes.

It cannot be easy to try to do a PT style game in a week and you did a good job! Most of my feedback revolves around wanting to tighten up the cell phone mechanics, like how the text messages should be latest to oldest, not oldest to latest, etc. Otherwise this is a solid slice of a game. I died once and then I was able to escape on my second run ;)

The visuals are good and I'm glad you were able to submit this! That being said, there wasn't much of a challenge and I didn't have much fun. I think you were very on theme because nothing can go wrong in this game :)

Let me just say that I'm glad that you were able to submit a game and I thank you for doing it! I know how difficult it is. That being said I found it difficult to have fun here:

A block of text greeting me the first time I start a game isn't a great sign and things just felt a bit unintuitive. Plus it also seems like a good important mechanic of the game is not specified in the tutorial but only in your description on the game page. Then the rain -- it just kept killing me instantly over and over and over again. I delivered a single package and it didn't feel fun.

Also, having to press m to accept packages just feels off to me. Like the game should be the one applying pressure and sending you package missions to choose from.

The WASD + Arrow controls kinda drove me crazy too. Don't get me wrong, I know that these type of controls must be super annoying to program but still, I had to ragequit.

The music was a bit jarring when first starting the game. Also it was a bit confusing in parts what was really going on. Like I could see what you were going for but I found it difficult to get into it. Like it wasn't clear to me what I do with second and third batteries? Anyway, I'm glad you managed to submit!

Happy you enjoyed it. Thanks for playing!

Can't believe I just watched an entire X-Files clip in a Twin Peaks game. Is it nitpicking to say the clip is from the early 2000s? ;D

Fantastic subversion and obvious author having fun! Enjoyed playing through it.

Thanks for playing and saying so!

Thank you for saying so!

That's what I thought when I first started making this! 😅 Glad you enjoyed it too.

Very different kind of submission! Pretty fun for a while but it begins to get old fairly quickly.

So much work and personality went into this entry that it is out of this world! :D

Your entry has a lot of personality! Really enjoyed how the rockets felt and how fast paced things were. Good job!

Enjoyed all the little differences and design choices you made vs the base tutorial!

Had fun but only made it to level 3 ;)

Thank you! Technically this is my second game released but the first game I ever started working on!

Glad you enjoyed what I have here!

The assimilated Enterprise ships could probably use some work as far as their aggressiveness but they were meant to be a mini-boss with slightly more beefed up HP and attacks.  It is too late to save them, you gotta blow them up!

Fun for a bit but it honestly left me wanting for more action or variation to the gameplay. It is good that you actually got it finished either way! Good job.

Thank you so much for checking out the game! It is most appreciated that you would share your thoughts and feedback here. One of my thoughts post-jam is to add a difficulty selection. Maybe a hard path would include the mechanic that you speak of here. Thanks again!

Thanks for taking time to play and comment!

The opening title crawl felt like it went on a little long without any visual stimulation.  Otherwise I found the gameplay enjoyable and the graphics were well done.

It is incredibly gratifying to hear that you beat the game and even bested my top score while knowing the game top to bottom!

Thanks for all of the constructive criticism and taking time to experience my game to such an extent. Your comment absolutely made my day!

Thanks so much for taking the time to play and rate! Your comments are really hitting home right now. Thanks again!

Thanks for taking the time to play and comment! Yeah, you're right about there being less feedback in game about not dying when getting hit in some cases but then dying when getting hit in the end stage. Some things to work on for next time around!

Never played the original so I cannot comment on that but I was able to get some fun out of this game! Graphics were bright, colorful, and enjoyable to look at. I'll admit I didn't know what was going on beyond just diggin' diggin' diggin' but I enjoyed it regardless!
