Charming game that feels surreal to me, almost like Yume Nikki from a gameplay perspective. It was fun to explore the levels and find secrets. Satisfying to collect the beans, but they seem pointless right now, and also refresh when you reload areas so you cant go off numbers for completion purposes. Could be really interesting with more polish I think, nice work!

Defeated the boss in the room with red lights but when I tried to interact with the computer it just kept saying "You have more pressing matters to deal with" (im assuming it didnt register the boss as dead?) Couldnt make it out of the room though and tried shooting the boss many more times to no avail.

Thanks for the feedback! Sorry that you ran into some issues; for browser do you have Graphics Acceleration enabled? That can cause some slowdown if not. I hadn't run into the glitch where you respawn improperly in my testing, but I've just updated the build to have a failsafe so theoretically that should be fixed! Would love for you to give it another shot. Thanks again!

Alternate keybinds have been added!

The ladders are decorational, player can dash upwards. I guess I should've made that more clear lol

Ah that makes sense lol. I'd wondered what the screenshot was with that space area, never saw that location, guessing it's there?

Not a Godot user, but in my experience web builds require some special care, but can definitely be worked around. I branched off of my main game once it was done and had to adjust some code to make my web build work properly, but it wasn't too difficult. I find that it's worth it for Game Jams since web builds generally get much more attention.

Fun game! The art style's really unique and I think the thread mechanic has some real potential. The final section was a little frustrating, using the lanterns to get across with the thread felt like they were just slightly out of reach and was more or less random if you could actually make it across on a given life. The boss only has one opening for a fraction of a second, so the fight becomes a waiting game which can feel a bit annoying. Overall really good!

Game was great! Just wish there was more content. Satisfying mechanics and a nice soundtrack with a compelling world. Only thing that felt a little unfair was probably how you immediately fall after using the star jump things; would like to maybe see a fraction of mercy there to make getting the dash timing more forgiving.

This was very fun! Worst thing about it was the lack of content lol. Would love to see more. The soundtrack is very nice, and the mechanics all felt very satisfying. (Defeating bosses with the freeze frame was great) Feels celeste-y.

Interesting combination of mechanics makes for some fun platforming options. Some sections got frustrating with the lasers. The tongue grapple is pretty fun to play around with. Nice work!

Fun, charming game! Everything seemed pretty well done. There's a common bug that causes you to get stuck with effectively sticky keys; played the whole game being unable to stop moving in a direction lol.

Music and environment is great! Platforming at some times felt frustrating and there was a hard lock in the caves that forced me to reset the game. A little bit more refinement and I think this could be super good. Great work!

Fun game! The wind-up gun is an interesting mechanic and the lighting in the boss room was dope. Think I got softlocked though :(

The grappling hook was very fun to use!
