i only realized it was a bug after the submission was do. let's call it a feature... if you are soooo greedy that you try to kill yourself for more points you are punished!

integrating speedruning into this game is genius. i have no idea how it only says 2 minutes at the end because i feel like i have played for at least 10 minutes, but it was a lot of fun, i liked the clever uses of the potions, and the calm atmosphere, the art and music created. it feels like i get a view to this character little world. i have one small issue with the game and it is the movement. it needs some improvement (mainly the jumping) but really a great game. very cute easteregg XD

my dad asked about other games here so i showed him this and some how accidently managed to get to 69 rooms. at like room 50 the are so many powerups everywhere holy...

the game is a really good base. the art is great and calm, the music is nice, the movement has unique features. i see you didnt manage to make everything you wanted and that is ok, it happens in gamejams. it happened to me couple of times. and you learn a lot about it. i am still learning time and scope management as well and it is the first game i have completed after 3 fails. so dont worry next time you will do better

this is one of those game when you think you can master and understand after some time but you are reminded again and again that you know nothing about it. the mechanics were super creative and i like how they all combined together . the gene bar added so much to the game. without it i would just try to play it normally but no you insurged it to be so chaotic and i absolutely love it. the visuals were very pleasing as well. incredible work i managed to get to level 30 and gave up on trying to ascend higher.

rotating the powerups is a great idea to add, how didnt i think of that :)

i am glad you liked the mechanics. a lot of them actually came from my lack of ui skills. so instead of a health bar - object representation. instead of main menu - object representation. it indeed exercised my creativity but lead to great results.

i am glad to hear so many people liked the mechanic integration of the menu. i always liked the attaching idea as well and finally got to experiment on it (which was kind of hard to balance it and make it playable i must admit)

if you kill all enemies, it spawns a new wave. so if you constantly had enemies to fight and maybe even fought the  boss you did a good job :)

i am aware about the movement weirdness, i didnt have enough time to polish it unfortunately and implementing a score counter could have been a good idea,

actually, i have never had this issue, the boot usually just rockets me out of those sticky situations.

i am glad you liked the mechanics of the game, about the boot you just need to attach it to the player and when it touches the ground it makes you jump. you can see the screenshots for some guidance. i am sad you didnt discover this because the most enjoyable powerup (the jet) is only accessible after you discover it when jumping with the boot!

i wanted to add an upgrade system to the shield that at some point will show you the location of the enemies but over scooped a bit so had to reduce the content to finish it.

the art and the juiciness of the game is top tier.  you made such an incredible work on the game feel that with more verity and harder enemies boss fights and such i can really see it as a full fledged game. with different levels different settings and such. i try to give every game one critique so at least for me the game was a bit empty with not much motive to move around after you mess with the different weapons. the enemies are short range so i can just outrange them all.
well done overall, it is the most polished game i think i have seen in this jam

i liked the idea of  the different powerups, the game is juicy and fun to play. my favorite ability was the kick, it just one tap most enemies. i am trying to give  one critique to every game i play. so i guess for this game it would be fun if the enemies had some more behavior verity. sometimes it felt like i just circle the enemies and spam my mouse until they are all dead. also i dont know if it is just me but the boss doesnt attack.

if you made an easteregg then well done i couldnt find it.

i have no idea how to make potions, i spent a good 10 minutes trying to interact with everything trying to place cauldrons buying stuff from the ghost and placing it... everything i could think of to no avail. even read the whole devlog but couldnt. from what i saw other people did manage to do that so if you can explain it to me i will be very glad. like how can i grow pumpkins? how can i make potions?  thx in advance   

very fun and beautiful game. one bug i found is that at the last level you can glide on the wall that you need the hedgehog to break in order to pass it. also if there was any easter egg i couldnt find it so well done with that 

really nice game, would be nice to know that the game have only 3 levels. also the music isnt looping. it just stops at one point. and i wished the line renderer would have a shape and not so squared. those are just some small critiques :)

maybe it was a temporary problem with itch. tried it on multiple computers and it works just fine now

for the life of me i couldnt find the toilet key. so couldnt finish the game. great game over all was fun exploring the map. and damn those noises creeped me out 

cool combination of puzzles. its style really fits the concept. the game is well build and well thought. i couldent get past the 5x5 light bulb puzzle unfortunately

i think this is my favorite game of this game jam! well done. really liked it. small improvements i wished i could just skip the death animation. and maybe only use the keyboard 

i dontknow if it is just me but i couldnt unlock the other weapons... 

cool graphics. and really cool mechanic. nor really relates to the topic tbh. and seems like it is a bit undercooked but wow it looks amazing and could be a really cool strategy game.

really liked all the minigames, the character controller is really satisfying. well done :)

an arrow that shows where the cave is could be helpful other then that its a cute game

didnt quite get the grinch mode tbh.

the visuals and the music gives such a warm feeling. really enjoyed the calmness of it. and the little computer looks so cute. 
on the visual and storytelling side you definitely nailed it!
