How does your game fit the theme?
This is an RPG where the numbers and setting escalate completely out of control, and you can use your basic stealing power to steal absolutely anything, even metaphysical concepts.

So good
this feels like a full game it does not feel like a browser game i just wish there where more levels
Sorry, I had a limited time to work on this :p
Maybe one day I will work on a grand project with tons of levels.
Wow, this was fun! Cool and unique concept. Definitely the most amount of time worth of gameplay I've seen in the jam. Funny and unpredictable game, the setting / enemies get more and more absurd and "out of control". I can't think of more to say for a coherent comment, but I've played it for probably at least an hour which is way longer I expected to spend on a jam game, and had fun all the way through. : )
glad you had fun :D
Nice game.
Really great game. Feels less like a jam game to me (in a good way) and more like something I would play for hours on some flash game website. The spritework was simple yet impressive, adding a lot of character to the game. Reminded me a lot of Earthbound's silly enemy design and distinct personality. I think that this game will go far in the jam, great job team!
Thanks a lot! I had a great artist :)
Absolutely one of my favorites! I just have great problem with balance in few moments. The amount of attacks is infinite and sometimes enemies can use the healing abillities too often and ther is no chance to kill them... But hey! Its the great game made in about 48 hours!
I'll rebalance it in the post-jam version :)
Absolutely fantastic game. Reminds me of Mario Odyssey's capture ability, but applied to an RPG. That being said, I think the balancing could use some work. Some of the moves are just ridiculously OP or broken and lead to super long loops with AI. I loved figuring out which order to kill the AI in so I can progress, and stealing their moves was super cool. I didn't really see too much purpose in stealing their identities outside of the occasional puzzles, though. Congrats, you've earned my first 5 stars of the jam :)
I'll rebalance this in a future version :)
love the pokemon vibes combined with kicking the doors >:D
great job - really creative!!!
What a wonderful idea! I saw this on twitter and I can't believe it's actually so much more stranger then I thought it was!
Unfortunatly the game froze for me when an eny recycled the "Land" move! So many possible interactions in the game, I'm not surprised there's a bug!
I'll try fixing them for a post-jam version :)
A LOT of fun! Smart concept, and pretty addictive to play. Great job!
I'm going to play this game after your stream. This is the biggest Jam game I have ever seen! I hope people actually play till the end because most Jammers usually don't take the time to play till the end. I could see this game competing against the big Indie leagues like Undertale, Celeste, Hollow knight, etc.
Cleary in my top 10! Congrats! I shall remember this game and share it with my future kids :D
Thanks, I am humbled to be compared to such amazing games :)
I hope your future kids will have fun!
Huge game, a basic but solid turn-based combat system, and quite fun how I can steal stuffs shape. Went back to play the entire thing now after the stream, too. A lot of quirky skills later on~
Thanks a lot for going back to it :)
Damn this game is so smart and full of content, it's crazy quality you have here !
thanks for playing :)
In my top 10 games for this jam,
everything is well done and Its funny too,
Great job.
Thanks I really liked your game too :)
Really great, but for the life of me I couldnt get past the space phase
i like the concept a lot and the comedy that can come from this but i feel like it wasn't utilized to it's fullest here mostly because it doesn't fit the theme very well, i'd love to see this as a standalone thing, maybe small scale because i feel like it lost a lot of charm once you left the city, no more fightable doors, signs and copy machines which i found to be the best part of the game.
I didn't have much time to develop it all, but I'll be working on a post-jam version!
THe reason why i leave the city and eventually devolve into nuking gods is specifically to stick to the theme btw, being that the game spirals out of control!
glad to hear you are working on a post jam version, if you want some feedback i'd say focus on the id stealing and the ridiculousness of turning into stuff, for example: have a rock enemy that can only be fought when your id is hammer or something and you need to be a rock to get past a stage. Also like i said before stay in the small areas i get that i had to fit the theme but i feel it took away what made it good.
Anyways good luck!
This is my first perfect score for the jam, an amazing idea very well implemented.
Other comments asking for QoL fixes after the jam are on the money, cause I want to play this more.
the QoL changes will come in a post-jam version :)
Wow, that was a very weird experience, at first I didn't know how your game was relevant to the theme, but as things started to get more twisted, I realised that the story of the game is out of control. Amazing!
Loved it, like pokemon but with doors. I am so glad I stumbled upon this, I became a door first thing. 10/10
Really fun, silly concept. Definitely spirals into absurdity after a while. Great job!
