The cinematic atmosphere was great. Hit the theme well.

More feedback on how good your sentence was at scaring people would be nice. I felt no matter what I did the bar just slowly moved up the same amount.

Audio was good too.

Ahh makes sense, I don't play many platformers so that one is probably on me anyway. Keep up the good work!

I'll try to leave useful feedback, but I will note before that this game is very polished, visually appealing and the core mechanic is very powerful and can allow for so many unique "a-ha!" moments when figuring out the catch to each level.

Game design itself was perfect. Bar these tiny nit-picks.
the 1x1 platforms were sometimes very high or awkwardly placed, maybe I'm not great at platformers but I felt a lot of the challenge I faced in this game was just landing on little platforms correctly which distracted me from the fun in-depth puzzles you had put the time into.

The flying enemies were a death sentence unless you send out an alter ego before they're on screen basically. I did find myself wishing for the ability to make them switch targets to my alter once they had already started chasing me.

I see how it fits the theme, but maybe room for slight improvement in that area.

Audio was great and art was awesome. Bonus points for making it yourself.

Overall it was actually hard for me to think of things to be critical about, you have done very well and I had lots of fun! Keen to see more from you in the future.

P.S Next time PLEASE build to web, you have a incredible amount of comments and ratings as it is, but I could have seen this blowing up if there was a web build. They just get so many more clicks.

I appreciate the honesty and usable advice :) and I am glad you enjoyed playing

No worries, If that's the case i'll quickly revist and adjust my Sound rating accordingly.

For the purpose of leaving actionable feedback I wanna say a few things. The number pad at the start being linked to a seed and having an infinite loop unless an ending seed is put in, is actually very cool. However this needs be communicated to the player better because it wasn't till I read your comments that I realised this is what was going on.  Making the keys more challenging to find and some other simple puzzle mechanics could also help beef up the actual gameplay.

Oh and maybe have hints to ending seeds in the non ending loops to aid that feeling of progress.

I didn't notice any sound either (unless I forgot to turn it up) but this could enhance the mood aswell.
I hope you continue making games, and continue with your story telling. I was actually kinda satisfied when I found the ending with my mother and that ending did fit the theme with the character becoming self aware that hey are in a video game and their world isn't real.

Fits theme well and pretty innovative. Bonus points for making it all yourselves

I haven't seen anything quite like this before. Good innovation

Atmosphere was great, controls easy to pick up. Exploring was fun :)

Fooled me into thinking it would be easy then slapped me in the face. Game design was intuitive. GG

Oh I can see this being great please keep working on it when the jam is done. Challenging but the controls were nice. I suggest making the pillars collide with the bosses attack so you can use them for cover. I'll be sure to look out for updates :) I was a big fan of the dash ability.

Good game, enjoyed my time playing.

Definitely nailed the theme, and I definitely wanted more. Good work.

great visuals, very fun. Did run into an issue where i pushed a box to the wrong side of a lazar and got checkpoint locked but for a game created in a week. This is a master piece.

Brilliant idea. Very nice visually. The core gameplay mechanic of timing camera shots was fun and easy enough to pick up. I just wish their was sound and maybe being able to sneak past the guards when they are blinded. Overall impressed this was made for a jam.

The actually Game Design of it felt perfect! I know it's because of time constraints but I would have loved 1-2 more levels just to see how the attack system could be useful.  Though short I definitely had fun.

Could have used some sound effects. I had fun playing it regardless.

I do think the simplicity has something to it. Very interesting!

Solid Core Mechanics. Intriguing concept. Switching gravity controls is always a blast.  Was difficult but not too difficult. would love to see more.

gotta make them shush somehow!

My long time friend and now game jam partner Sayje is responsible for those master pieces.

nothing to 'collect per say' but there can be evidence around the house that confirms what they say, for example one of them is a photo.

Well done, had lots of fun and very good concept.

glad you got a laugh! yeah we did record the voices ourselves :)

good game, Decent length too. Nailed the theme

Hilarious. Loved it.

too kind!

very hard, but then again i didn't play on easy. Not many games i've seen with difficulty settings adds some nice replay-ability

Very difficult though not necessarily a bad thing. I actually liked that I could play any level at any time though cause I just moved on to the next one when stuck. Really fit the theme well, good core mechanics and a fitting variety of levels. Would love to see what you could do with more time!

I really liked the maze that lit up as u explored it. A little more guidance from the game about what's going on and what your meant to be doing would be good. All in all very good considering the time frame, your friend is also a very talented artist!

Doing little cinematics for the endings also felt amazing, impressed at the polish for a game jam.

Great mood, art and story telling. Can't complain about much. Only suggestion is make the movement speed a tad faster.

Thank you! I would also like to add some more levels to it, definitely a possibility for the future.

Very well put together, maybe a bit more of an explanation at the start would be good but other than that I thought it was awesome. Big fan of the main mechanic of phasing.

Drop your games and play/rate mine.
I'll return the favour.

Awesome! Made me master the art of navigating and walking backwards and I found my natural reaction to jump scares actually assisted me in this game as I would flick the mouse away from what ever scared me, which is very unique!

Thank you ! ill Check out yours

Very good game, extremely polished and sound was good.

Bonus points for original stuff! Enjoyed playing but did take a second to get used to the controls. I would definitely play more stuff like this in the future.
