Hey! Thanks for the comment, and it's actually funny because the game was inspired by episodes 5, 6, and 7 of the anime called Chainsaw Man. I really liked that part and thought I'd make a game out of it for this jam since it's related to the topic.

I like the idea, but the execution was not so good in my opinion. The grappling mechanic was well made, but it could be a little faster.
Instead of parkour, there could have been a regular main menu.
I didn't like the music so much, I think an ambient soundtrack would have suited the game better.
The camera is a little weird, but you can get used to it, and the starting platform could be bigger.
The game is nicely optimized and runs smoothly
I like the game!
A few notes:
- I discovered a bug, if I die with the weapon, I don't get the weapon when I respawn and so I can't progress in the game.
- The game could have a story, the visuals look good, but if you had made your own assets, it would have looked better. The puzzles are creative, although I couldn't progress due to the bug.
- Instead of "dimension change", there could be time travel, similar to "Portal Reloaded". Or if you wanted to insist on changing dimensions, there could be some graphic difference between the 2 dimensions. (E.g.: the sky is a different color, the walls are made of different materials, etc.)
You don't have to worry, this is my 4th gamejame where I might have a chance against the other games, not sure you'll win, not sure I'll win either, but I can give you a few tips:
- Your game won't be playable if the players don't know what to do. Therefore, put some npc who tells you about the missions or an "objective:" inscription in the game.
- Optimize your game. If the game doesn't run on the player's PC, they won't play it and won't rate it on gamejam, so it's guaranteed that you won't win.
- The game needs to be enjoyable. The story should be well thought out, because if not, it won't be as enjoyable.
I hope these tips help! I made all these mistakes and it didn't end well. Good luck with the jam!
I really liked it! The visual design especially! The fog/smoke really set the mood, and the fact that the characters' eyes light up in the distance was very good. The sound design was also good. A little animation could have been done at the end, but other than that it was very good. The combination of 2D and 3D was also a good idea.
I like the game, but I would like to point out a few things:
1. I really like the pixel design, but I think the pixels are too big, they could be smaller.
2. The game is a bit "empty", I mean the map is big, which is a good point, but it could be a little smaller.
3. I had problems with interacting, for example, when we sleep at the beginning of the game, there could be a "press the E button to sleep" or something other than just teleporting.
These were constructive criticisms, don't take them as an insult. Good luck with your further game development, and good luck with the jam! (Sorry if something was incomprehensible, I'm still learning English)
