i got in trouble for playing in school and i feel it is  your fault

zoom is off

this is quite a good video about making something simple fun you should check it out:

I got 33

Good game, the core gameplay is fun, but nearing the end i find it gets near impossible to get through. the art and effects are also really nice.

This game is amazing, the art the atmosphere the audio all perfect, the story is great, and the overall experience is amazing, I also really like he IK on the arm for the torch and the eyeball blob vines, for 7 days you should all be really proud of this and you should definitely keep working on it.

Fun little game, i do think it is a bit hard to get the controls but once i had them i was really enjoying the game, the art style is perfect for a hyper casual and it feels rewarding and addicting to play, nice job.

Glad you enjoyed & thanks for playing

Interesting game, I like the idea that it gets harder the worse you are at the game, but the camera for the game ruins it a bit for me, as it is very clunky, even with a bit of smoothing applied I think this game could have been much better.

Game seems decent, changing of the gravity is an interesting concept but I found the platforming really hard and could not really get any ware with the game, but I think that is just an issue with me being bad

I think the art is really nice and fits the game well, but i found the game really difficult and sometimes a bit unfair, one of the main gripes as said by others is that missing but landing in a different spot makes you lose twice, I think a fix to this could be that a piece is destroyed if you miss, and then you try again until you hit it, I know this might change the concept of the game, but I don't think I manage to ever get a piece in the right place.

Nice game, I like the art style, but did find the gold not resetting to be a bit annoying, but overall it was a fun experience.

thanks for playing & I do agree the collisions annoyed me as well, but this was the first time I had ever worked with tile maps and I could not figure out how to make them wrap the object better for the collision boxes, maybe down the line I will be able to fix it.

Interesting game, i kept drowning, and could not find the key? (i think i was meant to look for a key) but the underwater city looked quite cool.

Thanks glad you enjoyed :)

The game was fun, I found it a tad hard, and still have not managed to kill the cursed skull thing. but the art is really nice especially the environment, which also feels really well crafted. overall good game.

There does seem to be a general consensus that the game may be a bit to hard and on one hand, that is the point the game is meant to make you rage whilst playing, until you master the controls, but I am thinking that for a game jam it might not be the best genre of game.

Decent game, there seems to be a lot of content for a jam game, i really like the combat encounters they are challenging and rewarding at the same time

decently fun game, I did find the balancing was a bit off, with the first 5 battles I one shot all of the enemies, then for the final battle, both of my guys got one shot.

Really liked this game, love how the enemies shoot out the gold and collecting it can still be difficult, love the addition of a shop to powerup the player, and the boss at the end was a nice surprise looked really nice. for future though some deviation in enemy's could be nice. but overall really nice game.

Thanks for the feedback, with the controls I did not want to tell the player to much, as its is meant to make them rage they fully understand the controls and are able to utilize them to efficiently make it down, and as to spots you could land and the balance, I am a programmer by trade so the level design and stuff is not my strong suit but I tried my best, I am thinking adding a tutorial might be a good idea though.

thanks, personally I think doing trick shots is the best part, and is what I spend the most time doing if I'm honest.

thanks, glad you enjoyed

thanks for playing, also on my first playthrough of the game it took me 58:35 with 425 deaths so well done. also me best time 15:26 with 42 deaths. just waiting to see if anyone can beat it.

thanks for playing, might have to make a Extra easy mode lol

Nice art, but and I like the clues left for the boss teleporter making you explore before you can fight (although I found one on my first playthrough and then brute forced the code for the teleporter), which then left me very un prepared for the boss fight, which in itself if is very interesting concept, nice job.

Really good game, it looks amazing, and when the when I can hear him start running and I have to make it to a cupboard to hide my heart starts genuinely pounding, great work for a week game jam, I must say though (like a few others had) key binds being shown on screen would be great.

The game looks amazing, I really like the radar effect, and how you can see your failures, but I think it would be use full if the sprite for the rover would show the direction it was facing as I would often get confused as to which direction and then move straight into the creatures instead of running away.

not sure what caused it, but played the game a few times since and the coin counter has been there on all of them, I am thinking it might just be a layering issue.

Thanks, tbh at first I did not have the easy mode implemented and had someone test it, lets just say it was added after that experience.

Thanks for playing the game, I will have a look at that issue, although I not sure I know exactly what you mean.

I did I found it helped a little, but still found some of the jumps really difficult.

decent game, I enjoyed the gameplay, and really like all of the art, just found it annoying that i could not see the amount of coins that i had, so at the end of a level when it came to use my coins i was left in the dark.

whilst text based games are not normally for me, I am trying to get more into them I really enjoyed this game, I maxed out con& str and became the biggest bully in the sea, found it especially funny when I 2 shot an orca as a little fish.

Interesting game, as someone who is not the best at games I found this damn near impossible, but something about it made me want to keep playing to try and get better, do think the movement room could do with some optimizing though to make it so it is easer to activate the various options, could be something as simple as hitting any part of the button activate the movement, rather than only hitting the top of the button.

Interesting concept for a game, found the movement to be really clunky to use, other overall a fun little experience.

This is a great game, simple and yet fun to play, really like the concept. i did find it to be a bit dark thought, and had troubles seeing some of the enemies.

(1 edit)

Decent game, I enjoy the dash mechanic, but found the camera to be very off-putting, how it would violently jump about, caused more than a few deaths, but other that than it is an enjoyable platformer.

really like that art & the audio, I think the concept of the game is cool and I like how I have to go out in the smaller ship to collect things to power the main ship, but I found the game a bit difficult and couldn't get past the cave without failing.

Very fun game, and the take on the theme is great, I do think it could do with some difficulty settings tho, as i found the game very easy to complete.
