This game is amazing, the art the atmosphere the audio all perfect, the story is great, and the overall experience is amazing, I also really like he IK on the arm for the torch and the eyeball blob vines, for 7 days you should all be really proud of this and you should definitely keep working on it.
I think the art is really nice and fits the game well, but i found the game really difficult and sometimes a bit unfair, one of the main gripes as said by others is that missing but landing in a different spot makes you lose twice, I think a fix to this could be that a piece is destroyed if you miss, and then you try again until you hit it, I know this might change the concept of the game, but I don't think I manage to ever get a piece in the right place.
Really liked this game, love how the enemies shoot out the gold and collecting it can still be difficult, love the addition of a shop to powerup the player, and the boss at the end was a nice surprise looked really nice. for future though some deviation in enemy's could be nice. but overall really nice game.
Thanks for the feedback, with the controls I did not want to tell the player to much, as its is meant to make them rage they fully understand the controls and are able to utilize them to efficiently make it down, and as to spots you could land and the balance, I am a programmer by trade so the level design and stuff is not my strong suit but I tried my best, I am thinking adding a tutorial might be a good idea though.
Nice art, but and I like the clues left for the boss teleporter making you explore before you can fight (although I found one on my first playthrough and then brute forced the code for the teleporter), which then left me very un prepared for the boss fight, which in itself if is very interesting concept, nice job.
The game looks amazing, I really like the radar effect, and how you can see your failures, but I think it would be use full if the sprite for the rover would show the direction it was facing as I would often get confused as to which direction and then move straight into the creatures instead of running away.
Interesting game, as someone who is not the best at games I found this damn near impossible, but something about it made me want to keep playing to try and get better, do think the movement room could do with some optimizing though to make it so it is easer to activate the various options, could be something as simple as hitting any part of the button activate the movement, rather than only hitting the top of the button.
