I finished the airport game for my nephew! Here it is if you wanted to check it out: https://vanillahafer.itch.io/pilots-life
Thanks so much for your assets, they made the whole project possible. It's not a super heavy game, but I'm happy with how it came out.

Game was good, but ultimately way too frustrating! Only because of the power ups lol I made it to 350+ degrees and still had no Reverse power up spawn in. and then on another attempt I was at 150 degrees when it finally appeared, but I already had a few "H" power ups spawn on my character so it was moving at .25 each and a double never appeared once when I lost at 112 degrees. (From 150 at a rate of .25).
With all of that being said, I was just frustrated by the great challenge your game has to offer. It was very unique but I really enjoyed myself! Nice job!
You did a fantastic job on this game! Be proud of what you've accomplished! From the looks of the comments, you already have an idea of what you need to fix after voting and it sounds like you have a great vision for where you want to take this game. Keep working hard at it and I can't wait to see what this game becomes! Nice job!
Fantastic game! This definitely has a lot of potential for upgrades! I can see this being a fun game similar to the Diner Dash series! I enjoyed the endless aspect of it but it would be great to see levels added into this in future additions! Overall, great game and I loved playing it! (P.s. The art style was great!)
Great game! At first I didn't know I could scare away the birds, but once I figured that out it was great! I loved the constant managing of the temperature! I found a small bug at the end where it tells you your best score. For me it was refreshing every 3 seconds and my "best time" kept going up. Great game though! Nice job!
10/5. I absolutely LOVED this game. I am a huge Metroid fan and this game gave me such a great taste of that! I loved the exploring, the back-tracking, the upgrades, the secrets. I can't even explain how much I loved this game! haha. The final boss was tough, and took me 3 tries, but I had a blast finishing this game! I can tell you really put a lot of time and effort into this! Congrats, it is definitely something to be proud of!
This game was really great! I loved the simplicity of it and how great it looked! I also love all of the great advice you gave in your description from what you learned during this jam! Also you sharing your source code and how you implemented this game! I think it really shows how much you understand this jam is about not only helping yourself level up, but helping everyone in the circle level up! Kudos to you, and great game!!
This game was challenging for me!! haha I kept getting really close but not able to finish it, which made me want to try again right away! I thing the balance was really nice! Thanks for making this, you did a good job! My only complaint is that sometimes (rarely, but still occasional enough to frustrate me) when I would click on an app or on the "x" it wouldn't do anything which was a bit frustrating.
Thanks for playing!! And thanks for playing it all the way through to see the scene with the plane! The fire is "random" in that I have 6 pre-made mazes and it randomly chooses one of them. If I had more time and knowledge, I would love to use procedural generation to make each maze unique. Thanks again for playing and I am glad you enjoyed!! :D
Fantastic game! The mood/tone was set immediately, and I loved it! The music went great and totally gave me some dark Metroid vibes haha. Great game! (I'm not really sure how to get a different ending as I didn't see any different paths, but I got an ending where I collected a sword at the end) ((I could just be blind and missed a different path lol))
