The background looks really good and the art style is lovely. Every enemy is designed really well visually.
Enemies are a bit too similar so maybe one that follows you so you have to move a bit more would be cool.
Also I fixed my game and added a ninth level and music so you can play it now!
The game looks great and feels great! The combo mechanic creates a nice risk-reward system where you leave enemies alive as long as you can to kill them all with one dash. The dash sometimes breaks and teleports me randomly and a way to heal would be cool. Maybe you could make enemies have a health drop chance based on the combo number
I really love the ideea but there is room for some quality of life improvements like:better control(coyotee time),camera lookahead so i can see where I'm landing after a high jump and a smaller hitbox for the player because right now it goes way too much outside the character. Also the red level is quite hard because of the unpredictibility of the grenade jump so maybe a speed cap could help.
Loved the ending though :) very wholsome
Great ideea with a lot of potential and really good art overall. My BIGGEST gripe is the fact that you can't use WASD to move and you have to press space to change color. Because of this every time i jump I also press space out of instinct and please implement WASD it's so uncomfortable to hold my right hand in this position. Maybe click instead of space would fix this because i can hold my left hand on the keys. Also maybe use a different key for swapping to each color(j for purple,k for green and l for blue for example) but this would just be my personal preference .
Really cool mechanic you've got here! A cool way to make it better would be to add columns of enemies of different colors so that you would have to spin the barrier fast in order not to die because right now it's not really necessary !
The 2 things I would change would be making shooting automatic and increasing the overall speed of the game if not always then at least as your score gets higher
I really love the unique artstyle and the relaxing music but gameplay-wise this felt like a rage game. The fact that if you completely stop moving while in the air and that you can't tell where the robot will stop make it extremely frustrating and if that was your intent, a rage game where everything nis chill except you, than you achieved it. Keep up the good work
