INCREDIBLY fun to play! Super tight controls, collision feels good, all in all was a terrific game. High score was 1250. My only grievance is that the background makes my eyes feel like they’re bleeding.

Great game, simple yet addictive and rewarding. Great use of the Pico-8 engine. The controls felt smooth and never out of control (apart when you start dashing everywhere but its no problem there). Maybe you could add some powerups or health pickups?

This game is really fun to play but it'd be nice if when you're at the edge of the map an enemy can't spawn inside you but otherwise i really like it
The game looks great and feels great! The combo mechanic creates a nice risk-reward system where you leave enemies alive as long as you can to kill them all with one dash. The dash sometimes breaks and teleports me randomly and a way to heal would be cool. Maybe you could make enemies have a health drop chance based on the combo number

It is really fun to play it! You managed to hit that sweet spot for movement. Really easy to get into this game and instantly be able to enjoy it.
The game feels really good to play. Overall presentation is also great! I especially like the bounciness when you collide into walls, and the feedback you have for when you kill multiple enemies in one shot.
Nice I've never heard of Pico-8 does this port to a console? I love the retro style, I may have to check out how to use the software. I really enjoyed the game, super smooth control and great use of colour. Sound fits well too! Good job

just had a look. You can run it on a raspberry pi!! I build a retro arcade with one of those. I could make an entire arcade with my own games 😁 I'm sold.

Insanely satisfying while somewhat chaotic. The lack of cls() makes for a surprisingly good background effect. Good use of Pico-8
Wow, was waiting to play this one. Nice game. However, I find it a bit difficult not knowing where enemies spawn.
Super fun to play and very nice visuals and sound! Though, I think you're pushing the 2 frame limitation a bit with your title animation(very cool though!).

Tyty <3! The title animation is a bunch of sprites lined up using a for loop, and animated with sin() and cos() functions!

Even though the game loop is quite simple it's very fun to play.
The sound is really enjoyable and I like the trippy graphics.
But I think you missed the '2 Frame Animation' limitation a bit
(at least with the main title, I assume the rest are particles) as most things seem to contain more frames.

Thank you i'm glad you enjoyed it! For the title I drew a different sprite for each letter, put them in a row using a for loop, and animated them using sin() and cos() functions, as for the particles their just drawcircle commands, To my knowledge this is fine ( I hope :D )

Simple concept but amazing execution! I love the pixel art and the sound effects, especially the increasing pitch when you get a combo. Maybe you could add different enemy types to keep the player on their toes? Great job!
