THANK YOUUU, I only had the old version of the spreadsheet guide (up to w3) and not the piratepads at all!!

This fan tumblr has a list of great guides, for instance for unlocking character paths : https://7kpp.tumblr.com/guide
and this combined-stats calculator is a life-saver: https://prismsession.tumblr.com/post/136959099366/7kpp-stat-calculator

Since many people have asked for help on legendary endings  I decided to do a mini tip guide for them. It's not *too* explicitly spelled out because I don't want to take away any joy of discovery.

First off how legendary endings work: for each initial conflict there is a running total of points. How many points you get lead to a sliding scale of outcomes usually something like this:

legendary > good > peace > neutral > sorta bad > really, really bad

You earn points all through the seventh week based on a number of factors - your responses, your skills, your relationships, your approval etc.

Not complicated enough? But wait, there's more!

In addition legendary ends *also* require certain things to happen. This can be the successful arrangement of specific thing in the treaties, helping choices other characters make to get official approval or getting people on your side.

But still, wait! There's even more! (There's a reason that legendary outcomes are the ultra challenge of the game)

Sometimes it also requires you have to have nurtured character growth / a character arc over the course of the game. If you haven't succeeded in this, you can't succeed in a legendary ending.

So to unlock them you need to have enough points and then meet all the specific requirements. I'll give you some hints at them below:

Hise/Corval

-Help them find a way they can profit together

-Wedding bells?

Skalt/Wellin

-It would be helpful to have both future leaders convinced peace is the right way, don't you think?

-A confident Pen, is a magical Pen! She might be able to accomplish something special

-Hey, I bet if they figure out they can get something out of a peaceful exchange that might be better, right?

Arland/Jiyel

-Hey you know what might be a big help (even if it's not a hard requirement?) You could use some ally's for peace. Maybe a reluctant friend or an introverted duke?

-There's more than one way to convince them that peace is good, but you better be pretty good at at least one of them

-You might need to get them to agree on a couple points of the treaty. Maybe they can learn from each other more than they think?

Revaire

-You know what would be great? If you could be a miracle worker! So many people to convince that peace is great, stepping down is good, and maybe being a total shit person isn't the best way to be part of a legend. Oh, and it's even better if you can make sure that other countries are invested in peace too.

I've seen so many things for romancing Jasper, and managed to do so with a full historian complete side story. But, is there options to take him with you, or to stay on the isle with him? Despite several playthroughs and my best efforts, I am at a loss haha

Developer

If you successfully romance Jasper he will ask you to stay on the Isle with him.

-make sure you are on the observe path (no romances or political marriages)

-make sure you visit him in your rooms every week

-make sure you are getting enough romance (it's a pretty high requirement)

thank you so much! I must've missed a week in my room or something!

Thank you for the outside confirmation of some things I already suspected were important (specifically "wedding bells" and the importance of building up Penelope's confidence over the course of  the game)!

Also, a general tip - when the game gives you a choice between interacting with people and being alone, it's usually better to interact with people at least until you figure out which interactions your build can be successful at and which ones they can't

This applies to dates (which generally give either +10 to one skill, +10 to knowledge or +5 to two skills) but also stuff like throwing events! What people think of you is important!

(+3)

Found one! Here's a guide for bringing peace to Revaire.

(+3)(-1)

Thank you so much for that last one, I was just wondering how to improve on my latest Revaire ending 👀

And I see that guide also contains a link to a Katyia's Legacy Guide!

We can't achieve this while playing as a princess? why? is it a stat thing or a background thing? does anyone know?

(1 edit) (+1)

I think it's a stat thing - doesn't look like the princess can get that much manipulation (as getting that during CC would lock you out of the princess background, and there are very few opportunities to get manipulation in game)

(+3)

*update - seems like Aly will be giving the option to the Princess to achieve this in v1.10 so look out for that :D (you'll just need to hunt all the manipulation boosts in game)

I don't know why Aly mentions the princess specifically when the countess can't start with her manipulation higher than 25 (which is to say, low enough not to be able to do anything useful with it)

Developer

Because it was in response to a question about the princess <3

But I did give the double boost to the countess too. So in 1.10 it with new game + bonuses both the countess and the princess can have 50 manipulation as early as the welcome feast, which should hopefully be enough

(If it still proves too challenging I'll adjust again~)

does this mean that with ng+ bonuses the princess/countess can romance woodly?

(+1)

I can confirm that it is definitely possible to achieve a peaceful Revaire ending with following Katyia's legacy with the Arland princess even pre-1.10--it is very tricky, but I managed to do it while aiming to romance Clarmont. There's a lot of planning to make sure you have 250 persuasion by the time week 1 ends so that you can pick following Katyia's legacy for your ambition. You have to make sure that your weaknesses aren't related to persuasion AND likability (unless you have a ton of bonus stats) because with everything going on you can miss some major stat checks while trying to make up for the loss. You don't have to befriend Gisette or talk to her during day 1, but do make sure that you max out your success during the play. Playing opposite her as Serah during the play with perfect success opens up a special conversation with Gisette and increases your respect with her, which will be handy when you try to negotiate for peace.

Interestingly enough, when I try to aim for Revaire peace with other builds I have a lot more trouble. I have tried several times as a Jiyel scholar (my default) and some other builds, and either I can't befriend Sarya and get her to open up, or when talking to her I can't get the peace option to show up.

(1 edit)

When Jasper told me about the bag that had the thorn in it, I had 70 insight and a little under 3/4 full interpersonal insight, but it told me I didn't have enough insight to put the pieces together... is this me missing secrets, or does anyone know the requirement insight for it?

With those numbers it sounds like missing a secret. Did you see the scene in the Forbidden Wing before the horse ride?

Yes, I did. I also got the one where she is talking with her brother.

perhaps I didn't have enough insight to recognize what she did in the forbidden wing? I can see if anyone knows the clearance needed

125 quick wit for the forbidden wing scene, 75 insight for jasper

ah perfect! Thank you! I finally got it all sorted. Now to pick at saving Revaire from itself.

Can someone please post a guide for Gisette/Jarrod ending

I also am very curious, every time I romance Gisette, even if I soften her twice and soften him every chance, Gisette says no. Maybe we need to be immoral? I have not tried that at all.

I haven't tried that either... I keep trying for reform to get peace.

I also heard you get an extra dialogue option when you talk to her in week 7 is soften her 3 times, according to the Peace to Revaire guide. But I only know the "Capable of change" choice in week 5 and "Worry about others" (with high persuasion) in week 4. What else should we do

You do need to be immoral to politically marry Jarrod, yes

Does anyone know how high stats need be for the end of the historian secret trail to be successfully put together? My stats are fairly high, and history is 85.  I just wanna know what to try and tweak to fix it.

The W1-5 guide says: "min 20 Jasper Romance, have found the 2 historian secret, min 60 insight". So it might be the Jasper romance you're missing?
You don't actually need to have the history stat (nor, I think, any Historians approval), but you must have seen the previous two secrets of the chain obviously!

(+10)

Here is the full 7kpp guide, freshly out of the oven. It contains (nearly) everything in the game.

You are a saint, thank you so kindly

Hey guys, i dont get it..... i romanced clarmont but he breaks up with me at week 5.... what am I doing wrong? I answered every thing how the guide told me and i think i got a high-enough parameter? What am I missing?

The last choices I can make are:

1. will never know
2. I give up

You need to complete the rebel secret chain to not break up with him.

ahhhhh......... thanks!

I would follow the guide. There are right and wrong answers to every question, and if you slip up and don't get enough combined "right" answers, they don't get back together with you the next day to talk through it. Goes for all of them.

Avalie friendship/ally achievement/ending might be broken?

I've done everything possible, and gotten her secret and her trust and had her have a heart to heart and ally with me in the negotiations. I haven't managed to have her pop up in the epilogue like Pen and Cordelia do... does she/is she supposed to? If so, is she supposed to add to something for NG+ stats like the others do? I am not sure if it is broken, or I am missing something (though I've followed the guides and known things for her), or if it hasn't been implemented yet.

Any help is appreciated! Hope everyone is having fun so far!

Did you get legendary ending for Jiyel/Arland?

ah, beans... that might be it. Thank you!

I'm also having trouble with Clarmont's romance but my problem is that he doesn't even give me the dialogue options to convince him to stay.

I think the problem is that when I finish the Rebel Storyline (connecting the dots in the Servant's Quaters), I get a ton of Rivalry points with him and I assume that cancels out all my friend/romance points. Did I do something wrong with the Rebels?

If you don’t have any choice to convince him to stay, then you don’t have enough romance with him.

Ah I see, thank you. I also saw that the reason for the sudden rivalry boost was because I didn't have enough rebel support.

So guess I'll just have to start that run over again. *Shrug*
