Looking for games to record and/or playtest

I know myself how hard it can be to get playtesters for your game so you can actually get any feedback on it. I'm looking to help anybody with a demo, playable build etc by playtesting their game for at least an hour. I will record the session and upload it onto Youtube so you can see the whole process in order to better identify what exactly i am reacting to. As well as the video I will send you a body of text summarizing my feelings with the game and outlining any comments or issues I had.

You can use the submission form linked on my profile, private message me on reddit or discord, or just leave a link in the replies, but what would be the most convenient for me is to submit using the form and then reply to this post letting me know that you have.

Any game is welcome for submission, serious games, joke games, nsfw games, etc etc, if you are unsure just submit it anyway, you might be surprised!

Note that nsfw games would not be getting a Youtube video for obvious reasons.

Hi there, I submitted via the link on your page. It's a short game and a bit janky, but I'd love to see someone else play it. Somewhat worried about lots of bugs or if it's an unenjoyable game, but hopefully there's some fun in it and feedback will probably help my future projects.

Wolfenstein with cats? I took one look at the page and I am immediately interested. will definitely be giving this one  a look.

Thanks :)
I checked out "CreamSoda". Really enjoying the music, it really helps bring the whole thing together.

Much appreciated :)

Hey, hope you didn't think I forgot about you, I was delayed by some Youtube shenanigans but I got the video all done for you now,  my tone might not be obvious during the video so just go into it knowing I enjoyed the game, I'll email you the written review in about an hour or so, thanks!

Thanks tons for that, I really enjoyed the video. Great notes. I just emailed you back. Keep up the great work :)

Good afternoon.I sent you a link to my game "Madness inside".If it's not difficult, leave a review and a rating. This will greatly help the promotion!Thank you!

Looks great, i will definitely be reviewing it soon, thanks!

Hi there, I've submitted the link to one of my games via the form. The game, despite being clearly action platformer, has puzzle elements in regard of utilizing the Reaper so you might need to think a bi.

Enjoy Raider & Reaper and tell me if you had fun playing it!

Hey, i've received your submission and will be giving it a look soon, thanks!

Hey, left you some feedback! I pointed out a major concern in the game, if it gets resolved I will come back and try to finish it :)

Here's my game if interested: https://wasabiiii.itch.io/grass-elemental-demo-demo

Hey, sorry about the long wait, I just uploaded the video review here, and I also sent you an email containing the written review. hopefully I wasn't too harsh with my criticism.

Hi! I recently developed a free game called The Forest of Endings! It’s a puzzle game about finding all 15 endings by exploring a forest and talking to NPCs.

Link

Checked this one out, it's a banger. Here's mine if interested: https://wasabiiii.itch.io/grass-elemental-demo-demo

Looks great! I don’t usually play downloads, but I might consider this one!

Thanks for considering, I hope you enjoy if you try it :)

Hey, I'll be taking a look at this soon, thanks!

Thanks, if you play, I hope you have fun!

Hey there, gave your game some feedback! My game's over here if you or anyone is interested, I could use the input: https://wasabiiii.itch.io/grass-elemental-demo-demo

Yeah it's definitely a struggle for new devs to get their games some players. I had to figure out my own method when I crash landed here about a year ago, and I'm always looking for more players and potential fans/supporters.

Looks familiar, but I'm not sure why, I'll be taking a look at it soon, thanks!.

¡Llegaré a él pronto!

Ok, está bien que la reseña esté en ingles

Hey, I posted on your forum. I really appreciate you making playthrough videos, open youtubers aren't very common on itch. To  me it's a different feeling seeing a reaction in a video. Can't wait to see what you think about the game!

I may check out Creamsoda, I see that it was received quite well...

I've received your submission there, I just have to complement your game's page, I was considering a similar design for mine. I'll try to get all the endings, you mentioned that the game was no less than an hour depending on your choices, but I was unsure if this included replaying to get the different endings, regardless i'll attempt to get them all anyway, thanks!

FYI, Creamsoda is a bit of an acquired taste.

EDIT: I just posted a quick patch to a few bugs I encountered, so get that new version :)

Thanks, glad you noticed the page (it wasn't very appealing on the first release, trust me)! Here are some details just in case you need them:

- To clarify, playthroughs should take no more than an hour each (sorry if I said "less" in the form!)

- Some endings will be reached faster than others regardless of skill. For instance, the very first choice you come across (less than a minute into the game) won't affect your ending at all, but will affect your playtime, as one choice has much more dialog to read than the other.

- The two endings to the first fight depend on one particular choice made during the battle, not before (dialogue will vary wildly depending on previous choices, even I don't know how many combinations there are T-T), and will not affect the game's overall ending.

- The four endings to the second fight depend on elaborate choices made during the battle as well. There are five overall endings to the game, four of which being those same four endings to the second fight (The other one is extremely simple to get so I won't spoil). One is a "true" ending of sorts, another is a "bad" ending, and the other three may be somewhere in between...

- As stated on the page, the Memory minigame puzzle is difficult, but is entirely optional, and is not required to beat the game or get a certain ending. It does give you more insight to the story and characters, and even to a specific choice made in battle, so I still recommend it! If you encounter a bug or just want to quit, simply close and reopen the game, as it does autosave up to a certain point :)

I don't want to spoil so I won't go further, but please do let me know if you'd like more info on how to get all the endings.

Hello.  I wrote a very simple little ASMR relaxing game called, ASMR Relaxing Game.  I'd love to get a note about it from anyone.

Left you some feedback! Feel free to check out my game if you want: https://wasabiiii.itch.io/grass-elemental-demo-demo ; Nice job with this one :)

Will check out your game right now.  Thanks!

Had a quick test of this and will be making a more in depth exploration soon enough, thanks!

I'm working on a new level. I should have it out in 24 hours or so.

I submitted a form for my action RPG, Tower of the Immortals! It draws a great deal of inspiration from Link to the Past, the original Baldur's Gate games, and Diablo for its gameplay. It's a bit longer for a demo (~1 hour if you're quick), but it is quite fleshed out with the available content. I appreciate you taking the time to review people's games!

Oooh, looks very nice! You mention taking inspiration from several games, but is there any chance you also were inspired by the game "The immortal"? A similar title and vaguely related genre... Will definitely be having a look at this!

I haven't, but looking at the game's synopsis it's probably something I would enjoy playing!

Hi! I submitted the application form for the demo of my metroidvania. What you are doing is really awesome and I sincerely appreciate it :D

Hey! would you be Interested in trying out my game? Sadly it has no reviews but I am hoping that some get left soon especially videos as I can see people's reaction when playing my game. I've attached the trailer and photos below

It is similar to the horror game "Phasmophobia" but in my own unique way.

It's completely free as all I'm looking for back is some feedback and to build my own little community :)
