I've been waiting on a reply for ticket 245158 since December 10th. It involves a significant amount of money and a very poor user experience, compounded by the fact I've followed up three additional times over email and one via twitter and still have heard nothing. I would appreciate getting some eyes on it here - I make an effort to support indie but this has been a disappointment.

Looks like the refund has been processed. Thanks for including your ticket ID. Closing this thread.

If it were really true that all refunds over $100 can't be made, it would be armed robbery, but if you applied for their request on that date, I must tell you that the day before there was an incident related to the Funko and Brandshield issue, and itch.io itself was much more busy solving that problem that it forgot to attend to its own.

Appreciate the reply! Yeah - I am not trying to imply that they won't honor refunds over a certain amount, simply trying to draw their attention to the open ticket to try and get a resolution since it seems to have gone into a black hole and it's not a trivial sum to be waiting on. It's blocking my development since I cannot purchase alternative assets :(

Who said anything about the amount of the purchase being related to the eligibility of refunds? All payments can ben refunded assuming it’s been within a few months.

Waiting time for requests and all things related to things staff has to handle, of over a month are not unheard of. Also there were some holidays in that time and the above mentioned problems.

Itch has no automatic refunds, so they have to manually check on those and approve them.

This also would be one of the reasons, why payouts would be delayed. You will find that many devs are waiting for their payouts for over a month and complain about it.

To my understanding that time is not even long in the business for these kind of things, if it is not a recurring payout plan.
