The game is quite heavy on my system so I couldn't fully enjoy it (blowing leaves at ten fps makes me sick a bit :( ), but the little world feels nice to explore, with all the inhabitants nagging you for help. House and environment design is lovely

Developer

Thanks for playing. We´ve been working on that fps problem and I'm very happy to say it much better. We'll be uploading it soon.

I'll give it a second play then!

Love the vibe and your villager are so cute ! I manage to use the jetpack and help fem habitant.

The Demon Leaf realy scare me.

Nice music and nice ambience.

:D thanks for trying it out!

Cool little game! Found a lot of bugs, but still had a lot off fun hiding in the garbage.

Like we've discuss during my stream, most of the fix would be polishing at this point. But you definetely have a good base to make something bigger and less buggy :) Keep it up!

Developer

Thank you for trying it out :D I still trying to figure out what broke Frogerta on that run. But it was so cool watching your reactions as you tried it. Thanks for the feedback.

Really neat! Looks like you used the color palette and everything. Only thing I noticed with that was the leaf blower was the same color as the ground so it looked a bit strange. Overall, great job -- one of my favorites!

Developer

Thanks for playing :D

Its a nice little game, you guys really focused on dialog and ai characters walking around it seems :D And those red leaves are kinda scary. It just feels a bit clunky with the controls and laggy at times, but other than that, good job! good ideas!

Loved the world and the demon leaves made me lol ( in a good way) It's impressive you've build an entire dialogue system. I just wish it was a tad bigger, or even centered so it felt like it was more integrated into the game.

Overall very fun and the style is wonderful!

Developer

Thanks for playing :D I wanted to add a lot more, I'm sure you can see the empty houses and the missed quest opportunities. We just didn't get the time.

Wow, you did a great game, really! Superfun, interesting and original.

A couple of comments: I think the player should move a little faster, it's a bit too slow. Also, I would put dialogue UI not exactly bottom left justified, it's a bit annoying, and the dialogue camera should point a little more towards the ground. Consider letting player move camera a little bit during dialogues.

However, amazing job! I liked it!

Developer

Hey, thanks so much for playing. And for the feedback :D You get a speed bump with later quests, I should have done that earlier. I love the idea of letting the player move the camera during dialogs! And that's my department, so it could very well make it to the after jam polished version XD

Yes, sorry I did not specify, at the begin I meant :D I got the boost later. Nice work!

I like the game and the mechanic of blowing leaves, but it runs at 15 fps. When I blow leaves it goes worse. However, nice job and beautifull artstyle.

Developer

Yeah, sorry about the lagg, we didn't get a chance to optimize things properly.

Submitted(+1)

This is SO amazing. I loved the feel of the game, the conversations, the artstyle, the relaxed gameplay... Unfortunately the game runs at around 15 frames for me and at night it freefalls to around 5. I don't know what could cause this but I had to stop playing even though I would've liked to play longer.

It's an amazing entry, good job!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I'm very sorry about that. We didn't get as much time as we wanted for optimizing things. There were some weird rendering issues that none of us had experience with.  But, I will look into what happened and upload an FPS optimized version later on.

Thank you so much for trying it out.

Looking forward to it!

What a nice little game. It felt very cohesive. I loved the characters and the conversations. Good job!

Developer

Thanks! It was crazy but I'm pretty happy with what we ended up with. I like Autumn Fall. The turn of the char is so smooth. Is that a blend tree?

Submitted

The turn is done with a Lerp function. Did you rate the Autumn Fall yet? I would love the feedback. Thanks :)

Developer

That's pretty cool. I want to test more submissions before I start rating. So I have a comparison point. So far I've only tried like 5, which is not even 10% of the submissions. Big jam ha?

That's a good idea, This is my first jam and I was wondering what the best way to do the rating was. I have just been rating them as I go.

It looks like you can update your rating at any time though..

Yep, I just updated my rating for your game.

Developer

That's cool, this is my first time too :D I've spent a couple of years practicing with Unity and I finally decided to start Jamming.

Wow.. We are on the same page! I have spent probably the last 4 years working with Unity and doing small to large projects (personal) and not really getting anything done, but learning a lot along the way. I am starting to finally feel comfortable enough to finish things. I have signed up for probably 6 different jams, but either never started or just ran out of time to submit a project. This is the first one I committed to and rolled up my sleeves. I decided to keep my core concept very simple so that I would be sure to not have an excuse not to finish it and submit something. I originally was thinking of doing something very similar to the Leaf Town, but I thought that felt too ambitious for a jam. I am impressed with how much story telling you got into this game!

Developer

It was definitively too ambitious :( we weren't able to deal with the optimization. But thanks!  I'm making a portfolio as an AI programmer, so I really wanted the NPCs to be multidimensional. And yeah, even though the core concept was simple Autumn fall was very well made. It was a good idea to lock a dimension in a 3d setting like that.
