a bit complicated in the beginning, i managed to surf 3/4 times, but the wave system and the art bout it is great, love the concept, it's just relaxing

The art on this is great to sell the feeling of being out in the water. I'm not very good at it and couldn't surf for long but its a great idea!
I think i havent seen many surfing games, a retro looking one is definitely something we need in the indie scene
This concept for a game is super cool! I loved how relaxing it was, with the gameplay, music, and art.
The concept is a lot of fun and the graphics and sound create a nice atmosphere. It can be a little frustrating trying to figure out how to catch a wave but when you do its really satisfying.
Yeah I'm thinking maybe I should have made it so the waves can be caught at any point in their lifetime. Thanks though, glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks! I had lots of ideas, but not enough time to implement them all lol. Maybe I shouldn't have spent so much time making the 16-directional character animations.. that took forever
I had issue with time in my game too, lol. The game also made me remember the old california games from consoles and pcs.
