Cool game - I liked the button mechanic, added a lot of variance- and the art style was really on point.

Developer

Thanks man! I'm glad you liked it!

Nicely done! I really liked the per-level abilities allowing for nuanced platforming puzzles each time rather than getting for example the V ability once and keeping it at the start of the next levels.

Developer

I'm glad you liked it! Thanks!

Cool idea. I got stuck and frustrated early though just trying to jump across disappearing platforms. I look forward to playing any future versions!

Developer

Thanks for your comment and rating!

It's a game of resilience, you have to fall some times to learn the mechanics xD Thanks for the feedback, probably a better stage design would help increase the fun of the player.

Nice game. Simple concept, easy to learn but interesting puzzles. Got stuck in a second level with spike platforms, because I always kept bumping to the ceiling when doing the final jump. One improvement idea I have is to make horizontally moving platforms keep the player with it when moving the platform instead of player falling. First time it was good puzzle to think to cross without this property, but every time after it starting feeling repetitive task taking too long.

Yeah, the horizontal platforms is a problem that I didn't had time to fix.

And you stopped in the penultimate stage. I watched the stream of PureNukage and he fell some times in the same jump, maybe it would be better without the collision in the ceiling.

Cute character, fun puzzles. Difficulty spikes fast! Good work guys!

Developer

Just watched you play. You stopped in the penultimate stage, almost in the final xD

Thanks for playing and host this awesome jam!

I like the idea of being able to move the platforms as if they are a character.

the controls were a bit weird to me, might be just what I used to.

I think the thing about it is that they favor horizontal movement instead of vertical, so if I press RIGHT and UP I subconsciously expect it to jump mario style - e.g move up with a horizontal lean in the curve looks like this parabola ->

but instead it moves horizontally "first" so it looks like this cut-section of the inverse of the parabola

also on level 3 I accidently raised the platform too high and it didn't come down xD

very interesting game though!

Developer

Wow, what a beautiful feedback xD

You are right, other person commented a similar thing. I didn't notice this while making the constrols, I will try to fix for the post jam version.

And about the platform moving out of the screen, I tried to fix that, but was too late and other bugs appeared, then I went back. I should try to fix that now.

movement felt a bit weird to me. ^,..,^

Developer(+1)

Oh, that's bad. Could you be a little more specific? I would like to know what to do better in the next time.

Thanks for your feedback.

i guess there is a delay before jumping and the character stops moving horizontally right away after i release A or D when mid air. xD

adding horizontal gravity is usually how i do it, might be a better way. ^,..,^

Developer(+1)

Hmm, it's true, could be better. Thanks for the feedback, man.

I really like the simple style here, and the animation of the player is nice. Music also fit well!

Developer

I'm very glad you liked! Thanks for your comment and rating!

cute game, the controls feel a little clunky, not as reactive as I would have liked. The music was cute.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!!

I agree with you about the controls, we could definitely work on that.

Thanks for playing! Glad you've enjoyed!

cute game! Music and overall design are great. Animations look amazing

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!!

Glad you've enjoyed the game.

great music but its quite enoying that JUMPING is not on space that would make every jump 10 times easier also love the moving plattform element but the platform who periodicly disapeared felt really random and where quite hard to predict

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

We thought that using the space button to jump would difficult things up, but we thank you for the suggestion. The platforms follow a parttern based on time, we understand that it's hard, but that is the purpose of the mechanic. Maybe we can increse the time that the platform remains visible, I think that it would help.

Game is cool and very good, except music. MUSIC IS BEAUTIFULLLLLLLLLLL

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!! I was responsible for the music and it warms my heart to the read this words. Thanks a lot! I'm glad you've enjoyed the game :D

Great job! I like the core idea of the game, but the horizontal platform not carrying the player got a little bit obnoxious since you have to switch in and out of the "platform move mode" to move across a plane.  Also I noticed that the player keeps their access to move/rotate platforms even after they die, which makes some levels a bit easier with a few calculated deaths than otherwise :)

Developer

Thanks for your comment and rating!

Yeah, the horizontal platform pissed me off too, but I couldn't figure a way to solve it before the submission time over.

About the death thing, I was in doubt if the player should restart all the level or only the position, maybe the first way would annoy more people.

nice game! its fun and challenging. i like the art and the music. it would be nice to have a level select menu so people can play other levels if they get stuck in one level, like I did.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your comment and rating, very glad you liked it! A level select would be cool, thanks for the suggestion.
