wow this game is pretty awesome! Love the language concept! I keep dying to bad parkour instead of the language lol. The art and music is very nice. I think the only thing I have a bit off an issue with is the camera lol. It a bit nausea inducing. Other than that great game!!!
Thanks for the feedback! I agree the camera could use some work, but such is the nature of a game jam =/
Wow, that's a great idea for a game that I've personally never seen explored. The character looks so light and fluffy but falls like a bag of bricks. I really enjoyed the procedural generation; that was really cool. loved the fog, i had a similar thing in my game Great job 7.5/10
This is awesome - I love the art style so much, and it's actually kind of terrifying being chased by the fog!! Such a cool concept.
Thank you for the kind words!
Very unique game, I like the tie in with the Tower of Babel! The concept is fun and I can see this being easily expandable to a full game :D
Thank you for the kind words!
This game is simple but really fun,it's amazing! I cleared it on normal with Luganda and Krio, one of which is really similar to English, so I got kinda lucky. I had to clear it twice because it showed 'Game Over' on the clear screen, so I think I entered the wrong password, lol. Amazing game!
Thanks for playing!
If you win there's a victory screen before the game over screen, but I'm sure you know that after playing twice.
Love the idea for this game, I actually wrote a paper on learning languages through games, so it is really cool to see a game attempt it! The game was really fun and enticing experience, which really helps with getting players interested in the learning process.
Thank you so much!
I definitely want to make a game one day where you can learn a lot more.
I enjoy the game. But I'm too busy running away from the fog(no time to read).
I really liked it! It's a great idea to teach languages inside games! Kudos!
Only feedback is that I would like to know which language it is when the game starts, not when I lose/finish it.
Fair enough, I did consider showing the language at the start too.
Thanks for the feedback!
This could really be a cool way to learn basics of languages. It's a bit confusing at the beginning to understand what the words are for.
I am big fan of arcade game, especially if they are originally made like this one
Thank you!
Original, art is awesome, theme is great, very tight mechanics... so good!
Thank you for the kind words!
Really original idea and a fresh twist to the classic side-scroller infinite runner platformer.
cheers
Thank you!
What an awesome game – I love it! Sell it to Duolingo hahah
I wish i could hear what the words sound like as well cause lol i have no idea how to read these words out!
Oh how much I would love to add audio, too bad most of these languages don't even have bad Google pronunciation :(
Thanks for playing!
The polish and love that went into this is amazing! Easily one of my favorite entries so far. The way you implemented the languages, and the difficulty settings was great! I loved the art style and style of gameplay. Very cool!
Thank you so much for the kind words!
Really cool idea with the languages and needing to remember which way to go based on the words!
And it's educational and you actually learn something! I did a couple of tries and managed to escape in the end :)
So yeah very unique, the visuals are cool and the music was pretty good. Enjoyed my time!
I'm really glad you liked it. Nice job escaping!
Oh, that last test room is devious! Especially on the highest difficulty, it really tests your memory! Fun game, good replayability with all the languages
I'm glad you thought the last room was tough, hopefully fair though.
Thanks for playing!
Cool game, I like the unique approach to tell the player how to pass the obstacle. I think when you get the idea, the following gameplay becomes a little slow (but not on the highest difficulty). In general, the game is great and well polished, so it provides fun!
Thank you for playing!
Fan game with a very interesting idea that I saw, but did not immediately understand what you need to do in the game, besides running forward
There is an ending to the game, I have added a counter to make it more clear when that happens. Thank you for the feedback!
