Good idea and well executed! it was fun seeing those little critters wandering about. I would have liked a volume slider as the audio was a bit loud for my liking, that's the only bit of criticism really, good job!

Made it to level 6 and then the game crashed when I crashed into an enemy ship. I really liked the heat seeking weapon and the ability to assemble the ship. One thing I had a hard time with was seeing the momentum of the ship properly, the only thing that gave you an indication of your speed etc. was the thruster trail and distance to enemies, but since it's in orbit of a planet maybe the planet could rotate as you move around to give you a better feeling of the ship's momentum? just a suggestion.

It's a good game and could be even better with some more polish, good job!

Thanks for playing! can you elaborate on how it doesn't fit the theme? You assemble the available letters into valid words for as long as you can.

Managed to beat both bosses! one thing that I feel like would have added something extra is having a sound effect when you hit the bosses, but other than that it's a solid and well made game, good job!

It checks against a text file with a bunch of English words, some words might be missing and some probably shouldn't be valid but it seems to be mostly fine for this game.

Thanks for playing!

Yeah I agree there could definitely be more "juice" / feedback added to visuals, might do that at some point. Thanks for the feedback and for playing!

Managed to get a score of 6325, well made game with a solid art style, good sound effects and music, good job!

I couldn't figure out how to play this. The inventory is empty or just black squares right? I clicked the toggles and something happened to the flask when I clicked on the black squares but I couldn't figure out what it was doing or how to win :/

I read the How to Play section but I'm not sure if that helped me that much, feels like I need a degree in chemistry to play this lol

There were some big lag spikes for me when interacting with some of the physics objects. The sound effects were a tad loud IMO so a volume slider would have been nice.

The camera also got stuck when it was showing me a yellow portal?

Cool art style and mechanics though, good job!

Good job! It's a well made game that definitely fits the theme, I would have appreciated volume sliders though.

So I figured out that apparently you can always just finish the levels by dragging the old man to the end instead of building anything lol

Still fun to mess around with the building mechanics, good job!

Yeah I didn't even make items spawn on the very top shelf because it'd probably be impossible to see items up there or get them. Maybe I should add a ladder if I keep working on this lol

Thanks for playing!

Yeah I might return to it at some point and expand upon it, I appreciate the feedback and thanks for playing!

Appreciate it, thanks for playing!

The blue cubes teleport you to a random point in the labyrinth when used, and the green ones return you to the entrance/exit, purple cubes allow you to void/delete walls to create new pathways.

There are multiple codes that can open the exit btw, some codes can give you a silly win etc.

Thanks for playing!

I ran into that bug you mentioned and got locked in the room the first time I played.

I played it again but with a controller this time and noticed you can't progress dialogue with just the controller (pressed all the buttons), made it to the boss room, defeated the boss and the chest spawned this time and I got the bomb ability but all the coins that I hadn't collected disappeared in there and then the door closed and locked me in there. Tried to bomb my way out but couldn't so I guess it bugged.

So I started it for a third time with all this in mind and managed to get all the coins and the bomb ability, and move to the next level, was in the middle of defeating the boss there and got stuck between barrels and the wall, tried to use a bomb to get unstuck but died instantly.

Started it for the fourth time, coins and collected orbs somehow hadn't reset and I had the sword already, so getting to 99 coins was pretty easy, and since it hadn't reset my bomb ability either I could basically speedrun by not fighting the second boss and just bombing my way in to the other places, managed to finish in the end with 99 coins (since they hadn't reset)

I was a bit confused as to why when aiming the bow the aiming gets locked, and the movement speed could have been a bit faster or an option to sprint would have been good, but other than that there's a solid game here but needs more polish which is understandable since this is a game jam game (mine also needs more polish)

Thanks for playing and for the positive feedback!

Great little point and click game, emotional and well made. good job!

Yeah the proportions are pretty whack, probably something I'd fix if I keep working on this. Also if you want to play around with the void mechanic some more you can enable the cheat for infinite voiding by entering "VOID" in the terminal. You can also open a map btw  (makes the game pretty trivial)

Thanks for playing!

This was a great game, fun mechanics and great atmosphere.

I also did Ctrl + W by accident like twice before reading the warning lol

Yeah, as I got the idea for having sticky notes I couldn't get the idea of that Slenderman game out of my head so I added an office manager that's reminiscent of him that wanders around. I really appreciate the feedback and that you took the time to play it!

Finished the game! love golf games, I'd like to make my own one of these days.

The audio when scoring / getting the ball in the hole was quite loud though and I couldn't get the power I wanted on the ball sometimes because the mouse went out of the game window and stopped registering my mouse input.

I didn't encounter any secrets personally, but according to the other commenters there might be some? still a solid game, good job!

Short and sweet, solid gameplay and a fun take on the theme. Good job!

Thanks for the positive feedback and for playing! appreciate it!

Appreciate the feedback, thanks for playing!

There might be some hidden mechanics and cheat codes that could help with that, there's a map in the game that you can ask the terminal about, might also be a way to activate xray vision and possibly a way to make the wall voiding, flashlight be infinite. Many of these make the game pretty trivial :P

Thanks for playing!

Short and solid visual novel game, well made with good art and story!

Yeah there's a bunch of secrets and each run has a different color palette and labyrinth layout, It has some replay value but it's not crazy, but I imagine that it's fun to discover some of the secrets and mess around with it for a bit.

I also updated the description with a link to the github page if you or anyone else feels like datamining it for secrets or something.

Hey! I appreciate that you gave it a try, thanks for playing!

Good game, short and sweet with solid music and a fine story!

*thumbs up* good job!

Really cool game! well executed and enjoyable, great job!

Hey, thanks! Sadly I'm not very experienced in the audio department yet as I usually just tinker with visual stuff, and due to that the other things like the gameplay variety got sidelined a bit. I'm going to work on that in the future and try to focus more on the gameplay and audio next time.

Thanks for playing my game!

Really cool idea with the languages and needing to remember which way to go based on the words!

And it's educational and you actually learn something! I did a couple of tries and managed to escape in the end :)

So yeah very unique, the visuals are cool and the music was pretty good. Enjoyed my time!

Wow, thank you so much for the kind words! thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing! appreciate the kind words!

I was soo close to reaching the end :(

Got a highscore of 25700,

The background was cool but I felt like the ship blended in with it sometimes. But yeah really enjoyed my time with it

Yeah I know, definitely should have worked more on the gameplay and added variety.

The list on the right displays the floor pieces in the order that they're in, and you always add a new floor where the + sign is. I guess it might have made sense to do it differently and be able to reorder the floors but this is what I ended up with.

nice little platformer!

Managed to survive 8 waves, good game!

I love these kinds of games, I really should make one of my own one of these days.

This one is well executed, good job!
