Weird! I mean that in a good way. Had a blast transforming into a bunch of different things. The beginning of the game left a little to be desired in terms of art. The second half was really cool. Really felt like this was two different games smashed into one. Probably could benefit from just choosing one direction.
Hey Michael, thank you for playing! Since this was really experimental we wanted to see how far we could go with the concept and we got this crazy idea of also transforming the game haha, hopefully in a more complete version we can blend these and use the concept in more creative ways that borrow from the best parts of both sides of the coin. Glad you enjoyed the game :)
This game really really needs a tutorial of some kind. I cannot even work out how to solve the first level as there seems to be one thing that you can do, which leads to one other thing you can do, which leads to nothing.
Also when you load the game and click the guide to learn how to play, there's no way to get back to the main menu to play other than reloading the page. That seems... suboptimal.
Neat concept, I liked the music and the title art.
Thank you for playing dysprositos, Sorry if something was unclear to you, There's full explanation on how the game works under the games description, including the controls which mentions you can get back to the main menu using the esc button :) .
Also we included the very first level which only has one possible transformation as a learning point so players won't struggle too much but we'll make sure to include a more detailed tutorial in the future.
Glad you liked the music and art!
Music was so fire, the drum in bass was so good haha. Also I LOVE the puzzle mechanic, I have no idea how you pulled that off programming-wise. Figuring out the puzzles felt pretty rewarding and made me feel smart lmfao. Would've loved to see more levels made but obviously that isn't always possible for a jam. I'm a little confused as to why the game switched to the goofy coloring book drawings in the second half, but overall the game was really fun to play :)
Thank you so much, It was a lot of non stop work to get everything working but it paid off at the end lol. We made the plane level to test out different puzzle scenarios for the game so we can showcase something more than just the puzzles but hopefully we'll make this into a full game so we can have more levels and mechanics in the future :)
awesome idea! and… You have a cutscene?!
Thank you for playing asimple_dev! To make the plane transition and the outro look better I developed a couple of cutscenes so it makes for a more dynamic level to level gameplay and feel.
This game has some of the best level design I've ever seen! The mechanic is genius in it's simplicity and the music is an absolute bop! Keep up the great work!
Thank you for playing DerpiestDude, really glad you enjoyed it :)
This is a Great puzzle game, I couldn't make it pass level 3 because the puzzles are so well-built and hard (hard for me at least). Overall, I really liked this game. Glad you could participated! ;)
Thank you for playing dogtagyou, glad you liked the game :)
This is a mind-bending puzzle game that appears simpler at a glance. The puzzles were challenging and required some trial and error. I enjoyed the art & music, especially during the final plane sequence. I couldn't finish the final sequence because it was unclear what would destroy you in the environment. Overall, this is a fun & original game!
Thank you for playing EelShep, The plane segment requires you to hit the tree with the Beehive but I can definitely see it being a bit unclear. I'm glad you enjoyed the game :)
It took me a while to understand the mechanic but when i did it was more fun to play haha. I liked how for some levels you had to think carefully when you want to transform. Really interesting game!
Thank you for playing Carmy, hopefully in the future when we make a full-fledged version there will be a more extensive tutorial on the mechanics. Glad you enjoyed it!
This is a really polished puzzle game with a really unique concept! Keep up the good work!
Thank you DerpiestDude, glad you liked the game.
This is the kind of puzzle game that even after you beat it, you are second guessing if you really understand it. Nice entry.
Glad you enjoyed it
it worked and i tried it and that was really great the idea is so unique i didn't see it in my life and the puzzles is well built the sound design was also great
Thank you for playing, glad you liked it
for some reason it didn't work even when i downloaded it
Weird, we tested it on about 10 different PCs and it worked fine. Does it just not load or do the controls not work?
Alright, I think I found and fixed your issue, if you find the time give it a try once again to see if the issue is fixed :)
