Really like the art direction here. Are there any power ups or more you can do than just redirect the light? I like the concept a lot but would have liked to see some more variation. Really nice entry and very cool that it's optimized for mobile as well. Nice work! Really dug the music too.

Wow, really cool game. Love the environment and the light mechanic. The vfx were also really nice and smooth. I think my only real gripe are the way the player is controlled. Mainly jumping up a wall by holding space or being able to climb up a single wall feels strange. Maybe playing with a controller would have been better here. Dashing in the direction of the mouse is a cool idea though. Nice attention to detail here. If you had more time, maybe improving the character art would be something that would give the game an even more polished look. Nice work!
Huge fan of this game. My only real gripe is that space isn't jump. lol That kept throwing me off. LOVE the aesthetic, the art, the environment, the vibe. Y'all did an amazing job and made a really fun game in the process. The quack with the laughing in the background had me dying. Nice work and glad you had fun making it.
Fun and simple game loop. Nice work. Sound effects were really nice too. I had some bugs with the movement. Standing still and trying to shoot once a circle lights up doesn't work until you move again and my movement would also sometimes get stuck moving me in one direction. Maybe it was just an issue with the web version, not sure. I think someone else had this issue as well. Really loved the feel and speed of the game play. Nice work!
Awesome work on your first submission. I wish there could have been some audio. Curious what the little green guys sound like :D. Took a little bit to understand what was happening exactly and once I got to a score of 21 and removed all the fire there wasn't anything else to do. Maybe a game over screen would be good?
Weird! I mean that in a good way. Had a blast transforming into a bunch of different things. The beginning of the game left a little to be desired in terms of art. The second half was really cool. Really felt like this was two different games smashed into one. Probably could benefit from just choosing one direction.
This is a REALLY solid entry. Some great puzzles, clean art, nice use of effects, mellow music. Love it. I do wish the main character saw a little more love though. Just felt like it didn't quite match the quality of rest of the world. The built in tutorial was expertly done imo. Especially for a jam game. I know how much time it can take to craft something like that and this felt like it went above and beyond.
Awesome work and killer project! Congrats.
This makes me want to make a metroidvania so bad! Love the voice over work. Not many jam games go that far and I loved it. You're probably well aware, but having some knockback and invulnerability time would eliminate the issue of being killed by the same enemy so quickly. Sitting on top of the lizard enemy for instance kills you immediately. Love the secrets as well. I found the left room right away and was surprised that I would be looking for more secrets. Fantastic work!
You did it!! Wow congrats. Now if there were only a speed run timer built in.... 😉
Thanks for the incredibly kind words. We worked so hard on this one and we're over the moon with how it turned out. Thanks for all the feedback and the willingness to give it another shot. Please if you have a chance some time come hang out in stream. We'd love to chat more and keep in touch!
Downloaded the fix which got me past the server issues. But now updating my create objects using the live_auto_call gives me the error...

Everything looks right to me. I checked the raw file and the function is definitely there. Not sure why it doesn't see it. Appreciate the help!
