This game has a pretty interesting idea; I like the sort of "legacy game" approach you took where each round is self-enclosed but has a permanent effect on the game. I felt that the actual battle part of the game could use something else to make it more tactical/interesting though, since as far as I could tell the best strategy was to just grab all your orbs and throw them at the most isolated enemy orb. The building blocks of a solid game are all here though, so I have faith this could improve a lot with some more work!

Very interesting game idea, I love the battle mechanics! Great potential, keep up the good work :)

I love the idea/structure of the game. I also agree with some of the other comments. The programming of the soldiers(?) needs to be clearer. It's difficult to predict enemy movement or account for it with so little information

Good job! I like game concept and originality, art style looks good, but I didn't quite understand a game mechanic, can you add something like tutorial, or gameplay video.

Now this is a completely unique take on the theme. Great game and especially love the options to customize the patterns and colours. The game could be defined a bit clearer but nice overall!

What an amazing idea...the gameplay is not that exciting after a while, but it's cool to see the progress of the teams! Which features did you use to upload the game, do you have an own server?

Unfortunately the battle part of the game didn't reach the complexity i had planned for it (ill probably add and expand on this after the jam is complete). As for how it works, its using an API hosted on Azure.

Cool concept. But didn't quite understand the mechnics. Loved the effects/animations though.

Sorry all! The uploading of the battle wasn't working properly, it should be all good now though!

Love the dithering effects! Although, I had a hard time figuring out the controls :P

An online strategy game for a game jam? That’s not a common sight, but a very welcome one! I love all these different variants of dithering and the whole vibe of this game. Good job!

Very interesting concept!

I like the idea for this game. It took me a couple of minutes to get a hang of the controls. Unfortunately, I constantly get kicked back to the main menu, but I can see how the game works. Great job!

Great job with this game! I didn't quite understand the system after the fights. I understood how to fight, and that is a pretty cool concept, but it didn't seem like it was doing anything after the fights. It would just bring me back to the main menu. However, that's probably just user error and I was messing up somewhere. Overall, really cool game!
