This is really fun :) I like the chaoticness and the fact that it’s a massive mayhem where everyone is competing against everyone good job :)

Great Job! I love this one, very chaotic!

Nice Feeling !

That's one shaky ride. Polished game with fun gameplay. Reminds me a bit of Road Fighter on the NES.

Submitted(+1)

Polished, challenging, good game feel, and fun. Kudos!

my insurance premiums are bound drop since i can "express myself" within your gem of a game instead of the real world. thanks for that!

This is a fun entry!  A suggestion I have would be to put the player lower on the screen (giving the them more time to react to new events).  The only other thing I wanted was to be able to change lanes a little faster: it feels like there's a cooldown on how frequently you can change lanes.  When an event emerges where contiguous lanes are blocked there's very little the player can do if they need to change lanes more than once.  Music, graphics, and idea are all solid. /thumbsup

Developer

Thanks for playing! We received similar feedback from several players, and made some changes to the camera position and lane change speed that will hopefully improve the feel of the game.

Hey SAWD Games! I see you've increased the traffic xD The farthest I could get to was 4 seconds. I was able to finish a few times in the earlier playtests. I love the concept and the visuals, especially the arrows turning red as the cars are about to change lanes. I would recommend making the input feel more responsive so that if I tap twice, it would change two lanes. Another thing is that around 12 seconds, the cars are covering almost all of the road in the same row, leaving only one or two gaps which are quite far from where my car is and the car does not respond fast enough to get to the gaps. I would recommend making the input more responsive or reducing traffic density. Other than that, it's a great game and could also be fun on a mobile platform. Overall, nice work and I wish you good luck :D

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! We made some changes today that should improve the feel of the game, the camera position has been moved and the lane change speed has increased. We would love to hear your thoughts on the changes!

The controls are much more responsive now and I am able to switch lanes quick enough to avoid traffic. Nice work! Do you plan on adding more content to juice it up? You could probably add an endless mode as well. If possible, turn it into an Android (mobile) game as well. I recommend keeping it in portrait mode on the phone. Thank you for making the changes btw <3 I look forward to seeing what you come up with next.

Crashing into cars in this game is so fun! I even managed to score a QUADRUPLE crash.

Some feedback: occasionally it feels like the game spawns the cars in a way that is unwinnable, which can be frustrating (especially with crashed cars). It does feel kinda fitting though.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feeback! One of the changes in our patch today was to improve the spawning mechanics of enemy cars so you should have more time to see them coming.

Much better!

Such joy to ride around and bodyslam others out of the track! Really reminds me an old game I played a lot called Road Fighter!

Nice OST, cool controls, nice art! Really great job!

Developer

I hadn't heard of Road Fighter, but we've gotten a few comparisons to that so I might have to check it out sometime.

Thanks for playing!

This is a ton of fun to play, and it’s very satisfying to take up a few cars at the same :)

Developer

Thanks for playing, our goal is always to see people enjoying what we create. :D

This was a blast to play. My biggest complaint isn't really a true "complaint":

Crashing into other cars is MASSIVELY satisfying. I was constantly looking for the next poor sucker to knock off the road. But it felt like the best strategy to actually finish the race was to avoid crashes whenever possible. I would love to play a version of this where there is more of an incentive to crash because it's so fun and visceral to do it!

Nice use of that iconic Kenney art pack! And the game description was genuinely hilarious. Well done!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! We have been discussing ways to turn this into a longer game experience, and causing crashes would play heavily into that.

Nice Job SAWD,
Reminded me of an old ZX Spectrum game which I can't remember the name of and will now have to spend 20 minutes trying to find on youtube :)

.. it was "Spy Hunter" :)

Pretty fun! Only sannoyiance is restarting is prettyy far away from controlls but otherwise really good!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! If you'd like to stay closer to the restart button you can also drive with A and D instead of the arrow keys.

Ah thank you!

Really interesting game, and it reminds me of the game on my learning pad when I was young. It would be better if the time gap between each position change is shorter.

Super fun and addicting, nice work!!

Thank you for playing!

This game remember me the famicom game "road fighter". Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! It was inspired by a lot of different oldschool driving/racing games of that era like Pole Position and Road Rash.

I love this. Great twist to the formula. Smashing the cars is absolutely addictive

Developer

Thanks for playing! I had a lot of fun smashing up the cars while playtesting too. :D
