Very well realized game. I liked the survival aspect of it the most!

A sweet game, multiple endings and  well-handled replayability.  The sound effects are well-made, the graphics are simple but endearing and nicely composed with the limited amount of graphical elements. It presents a nice introduction to the game mechanics in the beginning, although it lacks feedback at times (despite hitting the perfect spot, I keep having accuracy challenges, perhaps it would have been nice to know how many times I had to cut!).

The boss fight (which has a very original appearance I really liked!) is fun and utilizes mechanics previously shown, the endings are funny, some frustrating (arghh that damn wide river!!).

Once you're done with the game, you may try to beat your time and have to think out of the box, super fun part of the game as well! Overall I got hooked and I enjoyed my time :)

Interesting game overall. The implementation of a survival-like health bar was was great. However, during the dragon battle, I noticed a lack of feedback on what was going on. This made it challenging to discern if I was performing actions correctly. Despite reading your tips, I still struggled to understaind if I was doing things correctly.

Unfortunatelly, I couldn't defeat the dragon.

Developer

Thanks for going that far, and I am really sorry for this rushed battle system that didn't allow you to complete the game.

I was going to add a video on how to beat the dragon, but, on the other hand, if I have to explain it that badly, then this part is not good enough.

Really enjoyed the combination of doing daily tasks with platforming/exploration, though as my platforming skills aren't so good I ended up drowning a lot 😂! Would be fun to play a longer version!

Haha, you won't believe how many times I ended up in the same spot!

I enjoyed this!  I really wanted to beat it but couldn't figure out how to beat the dragon.  I tried hitting the body a few times but then it seemed to want me to stand in front of him (there was an indicator there), then it said I didn't surive the night when I did.

I appreciated all the hints when it was clear I didn't understand the controls.  One thing that would have helped is an on screen inventory so I could see what items I actually succeeded in getting

Developer

Yeah, some HUD indication of the progress and goals would really improve the experience. Right now I have a dozen of invisible states that drive the game logic, and this is far from ideal.

Thanks for going through all that!

Cool concept, maybe a little ambitious in scope. The setting involves growing potatoes by yourself on a mountain which is an ideal way of life.

Controls well enough and the quick time event style gathering/crafting is unexpected and charming. I'd like maybe some more guidance but it was fun!

Developer

Thank you for this feedback!

I didn't have enough time to complete the tasking system, and since I played this game hundreds of times everything seems obvious to me, haha! But your comment made me realize it is quite a problem for players with a huge backlog of games to play.

To address that I have added some hint's to the itch page. Hope that will help people to have at least a fraction of fun I had while making it.

Really love the concept, especially all the unique QTE-style actions

Developer

Yeah, I hugely over-scoped with the concept, ending up reusing a single mechanic for literally everything. Thank you for giving it a go!
