Very nice visuals. All the effects, like the trail and the attack effect are very well done. The gameplay is very simple, but still very enjoyable. I would have appreciated several variants on the enemies that would do more than just move (for example attack the player with projectiles).

Incredible and exciting game. I really loved it. Nice visuals everywhere. Love it!

Nice little game. The visual effects and background music created a great atmosphere.

The gameplay felt a little to simple because there was nearly no challenge. The enemies are too predictable, don't try to attack or avoid damage. There is also no environmental hazard (spikes for example) that could have worked in combo with the fixed enemy movements. Paths could also be used as guides instead of constrains, that the enemies steer towards while moving freely.

Also the enemies defeat didn't feel rewarding because they disappear with no animation or particle effect. In contrast the player controls are nice and responsive and give good visual feedback through the trail effects.

The graphics are beautiful.

The game looks and sounds super good! The gameplay feels super nicer overall, the platforming is smooth! Main potential factor for improvement could be the enemy? They felt a bit... static at times? I would have loved for them to chase me, or have more than just a path they follow? Still very enjoyable experience overall :)

Thanks! Glad you liked it :)
I agree that the enemy would be the main thing to be improved, I just did my best during the jam time and I really learned a lot those 2 weeks :)

This is a great looking game! Visually, very pleasing to look at, and a very uniform style and feel to it. The falling particles are subtle, but add to the very dark atmosphere. Loved the choice of audio and sound! The growling roars of the eyes was genuinely spooky.

The controls are super tight and easy to use. The platforming feels good and is easy to reason about. And the tutorial at the beginning of the game was straightforward, and easy to understand, and you quickly introduced challenges which involve using them - great design choices there!

This is a very strong foundation of a game - there's so much potential here to work with. Would be cool to see you build upon this game in the future.

All in all, lovely game!

I really like what you did with the art and the atmosphere! The bloom was really effective with your color choice of combining bright colors with generally darker tones. The movement was very responsive and I liked that double jumping reset your dash allowing you to get two dashes in the air if you spaced them out right. I think the game could be more exciting with complex enemies, such as enemies which shoot bullets at you for example. The movement is really tight so you could throw some difficult attacks at the player. Since the goal is finding and killing all enemies in a level, it also could help to have secret powerups to find in the level to help you win. Good work overall!

Hi, really cool game. The visuals are just amazing. The style you choose fits perfectly, and the effects/post processing are really well done. The movement and the overall mechanics are good, maybe the attack of the player need some more range, but nothing crazy. Overall a really fun game, I enjoyed playing it a lot!

Again, I loooved the graphics on this one, reminds me of Dead Cells for some reason.

Great job, good luck with it! <3333

Really good visuals and sound design! It is much more polished than my (or a lot of jam submissions) The gameplay is solid and the movement is fun and fluid and I beat the game :) However, while the gameplay is solid and feels good,  it also feels like its kinda been done a before. It may have benefited from a unique mechanic or something. (I dunno know though)

Developer

Thanks a lot! I tried my best to make the game feel as polished as possible. I agree that having some unique mechanics would done it better, I'm just still pretty new to programming that kind of thing 😅

Yeah I am too : )          (Would you care to play mine?)

all in all i liked it but it crashed on my virtual machine on level 2 after killing the second eye

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! :)

I didn't expect a crash there 😳 I wonder what could it be, I don't have enough knowledge about virtual machines to make guess if that may be related 🤔

The game isn't perfect at all about the code anyways since I'm newbie to it 😆

Thank you for game:)

I think this game is amazing for that two-week jam. Especially the effects or graphics are very, very good.

In the beginning, there are directions so enough. I basically understood how to play this game.

I think, maybe would should add enemy attack or somethings that attacks the main character.

Hi thanks for playing, I'm glad you liked it :D

The original idea was make different types of enemies and maybe make the enemies to throw projectiles to the player, but very newbie to programming and working on a game engine so I just tried to polish what I had 😆

if I continue the game idea I would definitely work on the enemies and work on so many other things
