going for lower times is quick and pretty fun, but also there isnt much reason for aiming since hip-firing accuracy is so good. also wish it had a more granular mouse sensitivity option since 0.05 is a bit too fast for me and 0.01 is way too slow
I missed a bunch on the first run thanks to them not being very visible from the Sides. also wish I had a crosshair, but I'm generally absolutely terrible at aiming, so I took 20+ seconds anyway, wouldn't have been better with a crosshair I guess. I'm just too bad at shooters.
I understand that the gun mechanics with reloading, safety, and whatever else you're doing is probably the focus on this, but to me personaly it just felt annoying, having to press r, then e, then q until I'm at the desired shooting mode, only seeing feedback in the lower right corner ( I know theres switches etc. on the Guns, but those are on the lower right aswell.) Resolution setting in options does nothing when in fullscreen.
Still, had fun blasting all my ammunition into the walls. The Clink when actually hitting something also was quite satisfying.
The guns are really nice and movement felt fast and smooth. There is some good potential here. My only real complaint is the transition to aiming, it felt really jarring to me and made me prefer running through the kill house hip firing.
UI nitpicks: If you don't hit the "apply" button in the settings and leave the settings screen, when you come back the values are still what you previously chose, but they haven't been applied. This lead me to believe that the mouse sensitivity option wasn't doing anything. By contrast the "default" button automatically applies everything so I lost my settings when I missclicked it
Game: I like the concept of fast paced levels with the goal of improving your time. I'm not sure I see the point "charge", especially since the levels can be cleared without reloading (with the right gun). I like the varous firing modes but the safety is annoying.
It would be nice to have a time for each available firearm since right now there is no point in using the handguns or shotguns, as they are slower.
I found it hard to find a mouse sensitivity that worked for both hip shooting and aiming down sight, being able to set them to different values would be nice.
I'm terrible at shooters but I had a lot of fun with this. Quick levels, easy restarts, felt good improving my times.
Took me a minute to understand how to even fire. Not sure what the point is of having the safety on, or what "Charge" is. Maybe it's for realism. I don't know anything about guns. Hitting the dummy cut-outs from certain angles was a little difficult because of how flat they are, but maybe that's by design. Would also be nice if your gun reloaded automatically when restarting.
I'll start off saying the presentation is good, I especially like the 3D room for the main menu, love that kinda stuff. Further, the visuals are nice to look at. Only gripe is the amount of warping at the edges of the screen, made me sick at first, but I was able to get used to it after a bit. Also, the attention to detail is nice, like the lights flickering when shot.
I'm not in the target demographic for this(only beat 1st level par), so take what I say about the gameplay with salt. While decently fun, I found it questionable using anything other than the semiauto rifles, since you otherwise have to risk changing guns or worse, reload. Suppose it'll make more sense when you make bigger levels. Speaking of which, your page says there are 4 levels, but I only saw 3. If you include the range for that, I guess it's technically right but a decent amount of people don't consider a free range mode a level. I also question the point of jump, seems weird in a game like this, and I can't think of a moment besides level 2 going up the initial ramp to shoot that one guy up top earlier. Otherwise, I had a fun time despite coping with the more in depth gun handling than I'm used to. Level design was pretty good, and I liked the flashbang set piece.
Overall, good game if a few things that confuse me, think you're doing well for yourself.

Thanks for the video. It helps a lot. And yeah, the game desperately needs a tutorial.

This game is pretty clunky but also pretty cool. I'm excited to see it evolve into a full game.

Overall really enjoyed it, nice job!
