Fun game—I really liked the mechanic for how the obstacles in each stage seemed to warp in and out of existence. The ammo sticking around after missing a shot was also a fun detail!
I felt like the movement (especially when up against the walls and wall jumping) took a bit of getting used to, but after a while I was able to climb walls with ease. I'd be curious to see how the game would play differently if wall jumps were more limited and the obstacle placements in each stage forced you to move around in different ways.
Walljumping felt good, I really like how the spikes stuck in the walls. Fires weren't really very threatening, I think they can only shoot horizontally. Only annoying thing was they appeared on platforms where I was about to jump to.
Fun little game though, Great work!!
The HTML version is quite playable. I missed the instructions the first time around and kept the shooter in the middle of the screen. Once I discovered it could move around, well, I started moving around.
It's a decent shooter in it's own right. Nice job! :)
This is cool. I liked the 'lore' pages, and the level transitions were cool to watch. I had fun playing it.
I too liked the level changes and it was fun climbing/parkour so I could shoot the higher protected fires.
Cool little platform shooter! I liked the rendition of the fire graphics done in the vector style. The transition effect between levels was also really cool.
A little bit of sound design would have been nice, just so it would grab my attention when the fires spawn or level layout is about to change.
Overall really nice and I also liked that you added lore to it! Nice work
