Excellent work - the aesthetics of this game are fantastic and there's definitely a lot of drive to succeed. =)

I think all the other constructive criticism has been handled well by the other comments, so to not sound like a broken record - keep up the good work!

Great art style!

Fun idea, the controls were a bit hard to wrap my head around.

Great idea which works pretty well. Though a simple idea, there's genuine tension felt in trying to stay on the rock. Good job!

A simple and fun game. Everything that needs to be said has already been pointed out by other users.

Great concept! I think the game was very fun. As Remi San said, the AI could use some improving. But I don't think you should get rid of it. Maybe make some sort of wave system, where the amount o enemies increases and the AI changes every 5 rounds or so. Or a different idea  could be to make the rock platform crumble and get smaller over time. That could be fun too. Great job!

Thank you for the feedback! I recently got my hands on the Unity Playmaker, which I hear is amazing for creating dynamic AI. I will be giving it a try on my next project.

I love the artwork!

The animation of the rock and chains on the title menu and during the game is very nice.

I just played the 1 player version, and I guess the 2 players version is a lot more fun to play. To make the 1 player version a little bit more fun, I guess you should work on the AI of the enemies which tend to just glue themselves to the player and keep pushing them, which is easily defeated.

The overall feeling of this game is very nice though.

Kudos

Neat game idea and great artwork, would love to see where this goes with enemy AI, scoring and unlocking different rock shapes through play! :)

Nice visuals, its quite addicting, but after a while it gets kinda boring, maybe you should had some variance to the enemies or levels idk. a knockout conter would also be fun!  Good Job!

I certainly agree, I would need to improve on my AI skills for sure. This was my first project relating to AI and I have a long way to go to appease the rock king. Thank you for the feedback!

I really like the visual, the gameplay is quite fun, the beginning story is a nice touch. I know it's kind of hard to make a good ai in limited time, but would be cool if you can improve it in the future :)

Great work!

Thank you for the feedback, I completely agree with you. I hope to improve my AI skills to make my games more fun. I definitely enjoyed the local multiplayer over the singleplayer which says a lot. I have a long way to go before I could appease the rock king.

The little rocks are SO CUTE! I love the look of the game and the island looks cool too. One suggestion I have is that when you die it replays the whole opening cut scene, nothing really too annoying but if I were you I would just make the opening only play once, and then when you die you go back to the menu to choose a single-player or multiplayer instead of rewatching the story.

Overall though great job, keep it up

I love the aesthetics. The rock buddy is a cute little bugger. The multiplayer was fun to click around, but I feel the bodies as well as the AI tracking in single player could be improved to make the game feel more natural and 'random'.

The rock king has been appeased! 🗿

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! I will definitely look into it so I could appease the Rock King in my future games.

Great game, sound and everything was good. Only issue is the colliders of the enemies. Most of the time your enemy will just jitter whenever attacking you.

I have troubles with getting controls to work in multiplayer. In Singleplayer WASD seems not to work, only arrows. Fun game after all, enjoyed it! :)

Developer

I am sorry you have that issue, I was not able to replicate it myself but I'll look into it! thank you for your feedback!

Really nice game, I liked the art and sound of the game, tho the gameplay was a bit lacking cause the enemy would just kinda stick to me. maybe lower their speed towards the player? Either way it was fun playing

Developer

Thank you! I definitely need to work on my skills when it comes to AI. I am fairly new to programming and the feedback is greatly appreciated.
