very interesting and clever take on the theme!
I liked the concept, and the graphics would've been good if not for the post-processing effects. Not sure if there was sound, might be a bug or my speakers.
There's several issues with the game however:
Despite all this, the game's pretty good for a first jam game. It just needs a lot more polish.
This is a pretty cool concept. However, the game is very slow and the visual effects hurt my eyes. Which is a shame because this game shows promise and I want to play more.
Nice game, i would make switching times just one button
Decent Game ! Good Job!
Wow, this game was fun! It was fun to figure out how the seeds worked by myself, but I mostly did so using luck, so maybe clearly marking it as a seed would be better. I like how it shifted genres, from a puzzler to a platformer. The visuals were a bit wonky and some levels a bit unforgiving, but overall really good! Nice variation on the theme. I've always wanted to play a time-switching game.
Cool game, the post effect was a little glaring, and movement a little slow but the music and aesthetic matched well.
Also idk if it was intended that you could fly by putting the box underneath you.
The only other thing that bugged me was not being able to see where the next block was until I leaped and switched time. But overall a unique touch of time to a common concept in this jam!
Hey mate. Some feedback:
- Firstly, I saw from your profile that this is your first game jam game, so congrats on submitting it.
- However, I do feel like the jump was floaty. Furthermore, the fact that there is no coyote time made the jump feel a bit worse.
- There is too much post-processing IMO. It might be fine to other people, but it'd be nice if there was a way to disable post-processing on the menu.
- The "seed" sprite on level 3 did not really look like a seed, so it could be confusing to other players.
- Lastly, I feel like you should not have put so many "Leaps of faith" on pretty much the whole game.
The last level took me forever btw:
Nice take on the theme, and cute art too! But I felt that the level design lacked a bit of clarity, especially the second level can be a bit too complex to get (as a second level), and I had trouble to get which element has what use.
Also I don't know if it's a bug but I didn't get any sound during my playtime :/
Overall you still did a good job, so keep it and well done :)
