the animation is really nice,
remind me of Noita.

I don't really understand but I like it. The combination monstrosities are the best part.

I like the concept, it's a very nice sandbox. Experimenting both with the sand physics and combining multiple animals together. I'm impressed at how smooth the animal combination works, even if it looks silly.

Really interesting application of sand physics.

Very original. I couldn't really figure out how to play though. I had some laughs when combinations were made :)

I found it a little bit confusing, but enjoyed watching the mushrooms grow and consume the disenpixellated animals.

Very satisfying watching the animals disintegrate into a nice mulch to grow my mushrooms in, and watching all the weird combinations I can create! It was very cool seeing how all the different animal/mushroom parts combined, though it would be nice to see more of them at once.

I really like the sand animal / sand simulation and the way the creatures combine. Unfortunately, I think the game is too easy and too short. I think it would have been more interesting if you only had a limited number of mushrooms and actually had to wait for them to grow so you could harvest more.

Thanks for the feedback! Agreed on the length and difficulty, we were running up against the deadline and just needed some sort of victory condition. If we ever return to this game idea later, limiting mushrooms would be high on the gameplay improvements wishlist.

Got to dominate the world which is always nice!! Would love to hear the backstory for this game idea :D

I don't remember the exact details of how we came up with the idea, but if you google "Cordyceps ants" (warning if you don't like bugs) you can see where at least part of the idea originated :D

I was confused about this a far, but then saw the deer split into a million pieces! It all made sense from there :D

this reminds me of the “what the hell is this” noah’s ark meme from family guy

This is neat. I love the way the deer fall apart.
