Game looks great and works well, but the relative lack of variety between rooms and cycles had me feeling bored pretty quickly.

Very nice graphics, and I loved the “drop into a new screen” animation for the character.

I got stuck on the second or third level because all the enemies despawned after about 3 seconds and I couldn’t progress.

I liked the idea and graphics. Music was a bit annoying, and I was unable to lower it on web (shift m or m)

I wonder how many cycles one can do

The atmosphere is there and the base mechanics work well. The levels did get a bit repetitive eventually though.

I love the premise and the polished artwork! The gameplay felt repetitve: I found myself holding down the attack button and arrow keys most of the time. I may not have gotten far enough in the game to discover any new mechanics, though! Overall, a fantastic game for the time allocated. 👍

Solid mechanics. I could definitely see this get some more rooms, weapons and enemies and being a nice arpg or rogue-like

Lovely spritework! Also, it’s a nice detail that the shots change their direction slightly when you move. My only issue is that the gameplay is a little bit slow. I’m sure this will change with the persistent upgrades you were planning, but for now, it would be nice to have a bit faster movement and shooting speed. Not for balance, but for the feeling.

Still, lovely game you made, with a ton of potential :)
