Lots of cool little mini games. I like the variety of different things here.
Thank you!
Great work! Love the game boy style, you nailed it from the visuals to the audio, it felt wonderful to play. The game itself was also quite fun and I enjoyed the idea of the 7 deadly sins as modes, very clever idea. Nice job!
Really cool game! The graphics and presentation were awesome. There was a little jank with some of the sections but for having been made during the jam it was totally forgivable. Awesome work.
Loved this game. A lot of people go for various retro styles, but you guys absolutely nailed the style of the original gameboy. It feels very authentic, everything from the color palette, the text boxes, the incredible music, the transitions between rooms, and the occasional posterized graphic images, was just insanely spot-on for games of this era. Great presentation all around. The game is really funny and amazingly bizarre. My favorite bit was probably seeing the moon through the telescope, just totally ridiculous. I'm impressed that you guys also managed to include a lot of different gameplay styles, like the platforming and kiss battle. I managed to finish the game in one sitting, but definitely would have enjoyed playing for longer. Well done!
I cooked some spaghetti, but where are the meatbawls?? Love the gameboy-style art and the fact that it's a story game. The theme of 7 Deadly Sins as a mode is interesting, thank you for this game. Good luck!
The first time I accessed it, the screen never progressed beyond the splash screen.
I reloaded the page and I made it to the new game / load game screen.
The controls completely froze up on "new game"
I would have loved to give this a try, but it seems I am stuck. :(
I've heard this from a few people as well. What browser are you using to play it?
Google Chrome on Windows 11
awesome gameplay, love the gameboy format!
cool game baby
TY BABYY
Thank you!
Great work on the Gameboy-style graphics. The look and feel was pretty spot-on. The platforming was maybe too rough, but still, you made a surprising amount of cool stuff in the time allotted for the jam.
Thank you! I think you're right about the platforming elements. I need to smooth those out a bit and make it a little more fun to play.
Seems like it would be cool, but I'm stuck on the new game screen and can't progress past, not sure if I'm missing a button prompt or just a bit dense, but I've tried pressing just about every key on the keyboard.
You have to go left and then keep going after the text! Let me know if you're still having the issue!
Not sure how to select NEW GAME.
If you go left after the splash screen there is a text prompt for NEW GAME and if you continue moving forward, it's supposed to start a new game. Hope this works for you!
Very nice game, very nostalgic too! movement felt a little rough but the world felt really polished. almost every object had some kind of interaction. the puzzles were clever and different from one another and switching between top down and side scroller made for a really fun experience. Great stuff!
Amazing! What did you make this with? The Gameboy graphics look really authentic! Took me a while to beat the whole thing. I really liked the sense of humor
this was super cute! i loved the sprite art and concepts, even if everything was a little rough around the edges. nice job on getting it in!
Thank you! I'm happy I was able to make the deadline! I learned a lot from this game jam!
Very interesting game, has a pretty off-putting and creepy vibe. Very nice.
Thank you!!
