Woah this is really cool

Great game with an awesome game feel! I really enjoyed the story, very impressive how much personality you managed to give a pair of hands. :D

The melee enemies could be cheesed a bit by running (and dashing) in circles around the map until they all clumped up behind me, but doing so was still fun

Beautiful presentation with good visual style and interesting story well told through hand motions - gameplay is engaging, build-altering powers feel great! Gameplay was starting to feel very good, but then got stunlocked - that tends to kill the flow a bit :) Will you keep working on the game after the jam?

easily my favorite combat game this jam!! super fun!

Absolutely my style of humor from the get go. Sorting through a gods trash because they dun goofed? Hell yeah man let's go

Left shift as a dash or other movement option is always really rough on my hands, so I was never able to fully get into the groove of the combat. Very much going to be one of those games where controllers are going to elevate the experience by so much its absurd.

Generous of the hands to catch me as I kept leaping to my doom while they were info dumping on me, I do wonder if I'd get hit with more sass if I kept it up haha

Amazing work in the time frame we had! Also always gotta show my appreciation for Linux support

love the visual style and i'm a sucker for simple upgrade systems like this. i got a few fun builds going but i was still getting my ass kicked by the normal enemies lol. really sick game loop here

Nice style and feel. I love the intro explaining the setting and having fun with the player a bit before getting to the bulk of the action

Developer(+1)

amazing that you noticed the love put into the intro, thanks a lot!

Very well polished game with great movement and good feeling combat.

I kinda don't vibe with the grounded enemies. They seem a little too aggressive and you are somewhat forced into a very passive play style . I think if enemies had less health, less speed (specifically the attacking animation) but there were more of them and especially more flying enemies it would feel a bit more interactive to play.

The builds this allows for seem to all be somewhat viable (except for selene) so props for that.

Loved the music and presentation most of all in this entry good job.

So glad I took the time to come by here before the end of the rating. This game is an insane execution. This in one week is simply staggering. Music is great, gameplay is super fun and tuned. Humor and world building are on point. Seriously good job team (or is this a solo dev???).

Developer

thanks for the kind words! Music was made by @bosil and most 3d models were made by @ruru, everything else is me ("solo")!

The high-contrast art style fits well with the fast paced combat; it’s easy for me to identify where the enemies are and helps me respond accordingly. I also like how the item effects stack, especially the ricochet effects, of which I built my strategy around.

Developer

Thanks! I'm still going through overstimulation detox after your game, it was very fun!
