Very VERY cool game! It really caught my eye! Makes the player feel very powerful too!

The elephant in the room; the amazing art! I really loved the aesthetic of the low-res pixel art you went with combined with all the FX and juice- but i do have quite a bit of feedback regarding the presentation. There is a LOT of screenshake and since a lot was happening it just felt like a high magnitude earthquake was taking place. Another point i have is (this is a nitpick tbh but it still bothered me) being obvious mixels, however when the screen was more zoomed out it didn't really bother me anymore. I love the character you made and how he moves around! Very simple but oh so effective.

On the gameplay side i was confused at first why this was a single-stick shooter, but eventually i just embraced this and spammed the shooting key. Not sure if this was intentional but it felt like it was the only way to play after losing the first time (i died when i did the charge for entering the next screen).

This is an absolute fantastic game! I am very impressed about this game being made in 3 days!!

Love the animations of the character and the way he turns into a meteor when dashing. Felt very powerful in my little box, really well done, this is a super cool game

Great pixel art and screenshake to represent the power of the character. Definitely better on controller. I would have loved to see a boss but I played for a long time and none ever appeared. I liked that you could dash into the soldiers to explode them!

Awesome graphics, cool narrative, and a fun gameplay loop! I enjoyed my time with Powerbreak, but the controls could be tweaked to make it easier to change your firing direction. (I agree with devthedragon's points.) Nevertheless, great job! :)

Very fun game with intuitive controls. I enjoyed the expanding environment with each detonation. I agree with other comments that having a bit more of a twin stick shooter style wound be beneficial as currently you have to turn towards a barrage of bullets to return fire.
