Beautiful game, really like the style. So much content as well, very impressed by so much gameplay depth - thank you for making! Kinda want to try it on controller when I have it available :)

It took me a bit to come to grips with the mechanics, but this has a lot of depth!

I'm amazed you can do all this work yourself, especially a strategy game for a jam in about a week. That's a lot of work, and it all feels so right in how it all balances together. I started strategizing which items to buy next to discover new abilities, to manage my resources as I climbed my way to the top. I think with some more challenging combat this could really be something special.

I'm really into this conceptually and the jam execution is perfect as is. Everything that should be there looks to be there. There's a small learning curve and I wish some of the shop items had more clear indicators for their usage while highlighted but this is a game I'm going to return to post jam to watch and learn more about.

The potential for the strategy that can be available in this long term is high. I love the fact it's like a dungeon crawler in the way the combat is laid out. Breaking it up into smaller arenas of combat makes them more rapid fire rather than over a long course of time with resource management sometimes bogging the combat down.

Overall very neat! The AI jank is to be expected with the short time frame but it's very playable and because of how strategy heavy it is, the AI jank becomes part of the thing to strategize against. Great job :D

There's a lot of good systems at play here. Shout out for putting together good AI, too. That stuff usually goes under appreciated in jams.

I liked the home made sound effects.  You have a real talent!  The game is awesome.  There's a lot of work that went into this one.  So many items and options.  Everything works well.  Can't really think of any criticism, aside from a tutorial and allowing the game to be scaled, as it's a bit small.

Excellent entry!!  I'll definitely play this again later.

This is very in-depth for a jam game! I like how you can change hats to learn abilities from multiple classes! I could see those mechanics being expanded into a full game, really.

lmao I love the names you chose for the stats

Really loved the presentation on this one! Everything feels so smooth and I would love to know more on how you implemented the various effects (the peacock feathers, the animated icons showing where you can move/do abilities etc.)

Also love how if you can't do something the peacock makes a bird noise that somehow clearly communicates no xD

Thanks, glad you like it! The peacock feathers were made using spritemancer. The tile highlight animation was made in Aseprite using the scripting API.

Yeah, the voice actor really nailed it!

oooh nice I didn't know about aseprite's scripting API! Will have to try it out :)
