An interesting and good take on the jam theme. My only two complaints are the player sprite(the other stuff looks good tho) and how long the game(maybe 2minutes would be enough?).
what's wrong with the player sprite?
I just think the legs look kind of weard
The jumping is a bit weird but i loved the idea of the game!
I like the message behind the game! However I found the graphics to be a bit simple, but I like the stars:D
Nice that you found some secrets! Hope you found an ending (;
I'd also love if you left a rating (:
I did! Yesterday actually but apparently the comment I left yesterday disappeared (or I didnt successfully save it :o) I've saved your rating though!!
Aside from the jittery platform movement, the game is very good and meaningful. Great implementation of the theme.
This game is so strong.
Thank you!
Pretty good idea but the visuals were not so great, try something more complex next time I'm sure you will get it right, but apart from that i must say that i enjoyed to fiind the existence of life.
nice game :D
made me wonder what was my existence was, although i died on each attempt. i liked the game overall :D
maybe some indicators or something would have made it better but its good :D
I like how there are multiple ending and the music is really control plus the controls feel super smooth. I dont really see how this pertains to the theme though.
It fits the theme, you'll see how if you get to the ending.
The gameplay was tight and satisfying, I enjoyed the concept and had a good time with it!
I like the concept quite a bit, but I believe 3 minutes is a long time to ask someone to play on a level largely composed of a sea of moving rectangles. The vistas you can discover keep the gameplay a little interesting, but after dying a couple of times mid-way through the run to a trust fall that I shouldn't have made, the taste soured a bit. That said, the platforming is nice and tight, the aging mechanic is a neat touch, and I think it's great that you finished a game during this short sprint!
A cool game! Very interesting concept, one that I wish more games would explore.
Interesting game idea, I have unlocked the neutral and neutral-bad ending. I liked the little cutscenes that play upon discovering a location.
The happy music didn't really fit to the elderly state. Maybe changing the music depending on age would make it better.
Interesting game! I enjoyed the mechanics of wondering around and exploring. I wasn't sure whether the cutscenes I unlocked were endings or not, but I had fun while playing it!
If you wanted to improve, adding some particle fx to the character movement or when picking up coins would help the game to feel really good.
Check out mine if you get a chance!
Great game! The sound effects and music were charming, I struggled to find additional endings but a cool concept and the fact you managed additional endings in a short time is impressive, well done!
Awesome work, feel free to check out my submission too if you have the time :)
Thanks a lot for the review and rating!
Collecting coins was satisfying. I think I struggled to understand the theme, but overall good with game and didn't find any bugs!
You have to get an ending in order to see why the game adheres to the theme (: try surviving for 3 minutes!
I know the meaning of life .. it's just been happy and safe...
RLY cool!!
i rated your game....
i liked the game, the aging effect is a great detail , and the multiple endings are good for replayability, cool game! congrats!
I liked the game a lot! The theme it has is pretty touching, and the simplicity of the design made it easy to guess what to do, without much explanation (didn't even read the tutorial lol). One thing that bugs me a little bit is the hard gameplay, as the platforming is a bit hard, especially when trying to avoid coins (since I think they're the reason I didn't get the perfect ending). Aside from that I think it's a great game :)
good concept. And enjoyable game.
Thanks, I'd love it if you left a rating :D
