Game's take on the theme
For this boss rush game, I took the theme to mean two things. First, the game takes place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland populated by monsters living literally in a makeshift ramshackle town, presented with a mix of genres. On the other hand, the game is also a mixture of 2D pixel art and 3D models with the intent of integrating some RPG aspects into the whole action boss rush arena style.

That's my favorite entry for now! The graphics are exeptionnal. It's a bit hard to aim though.
Got to say, this is probably my favourite entry, the pixel art is amazing and is clear that each character was designed with care, the soundtrack is on point and the controls are easy enough (it took me a little to find the interaction key tho ahah) Amazing work overall! Good Job!

Absolutely stunning graphics, great sfx and really well designed boss! The hand drawn art especially was top notch. Performance wasn't the best for me on 1440p with a 3070 though, I was getting maybe 50 fps at best. Also, I'd tone down the chromatic abberation just a tiny bit, it can get pretty hard on the eyes, you could increase it when the player gets hit though for example. Still, those are really small quirks, really great job!

Love this game, it's super well-made! The art and music are both stellar and the boss is very well-designed. If you plan on making this a full game, I'd love to see the final product!

Very good work. The aesthetics and effects of the game are impressive, as well as having some narrative with dialogue. Too bad there's only one final boss, otherwise it has the quality of a game above a GameJam.

I'm a bit speechless here. Every single thing in your game is absolutely polished. The design, the graphics, use of post processing, the sound. Great controls (I mean, I played enough of games in this jam to tell you getting the dash distance is NOT an easy task), great atmosphere (if you asked me yesterday I'd tell you, I'm bit over post-apo. but you proved me wrong). You even had dialogue scenes with cool character designs!
As I see it, this game has only one flaw, and it has to do with the theme. The "makeshift" in your game is only thematic, and not really gameplay based.
In the end, one question- will you be developing this further? Because I'd be interested in playing a full version if you do!
Over all- if this had more bosses- it would easily be the best game (at least so far for me). With just one boss... hell, it still may be! Definitely among the best!
