Game's take on the theme
Both the team itself, and some of the bosses are makeshift. The team can't work together right, will hit each other with weapons, and can't move through each other's spaces. The bosses are currently recovering from the efforts of previous heroes: And thus weaker than normal.

great aesthetic but i had trouble with understanding the controls. music and art is good but I dont know whats going on with the movements and attacks. Good job! hope to see an updated version soon.

the visual are very good but some animation could have helped understand better the game, don't get me wrong the controls are very easy to grasp and works quite well, I wasn't just sure at the beginning if I was damaging the bosses ahaha Overall a very good entry with a lot of potential, Good job!

Visuals are beautiful and music fits perfect! It's a very unique way to enter this jam. You can improve the way to explain the mechanics and systems, it will make people fall in love with your game faster. Good work!

Great game, but it would be better if I could move around with the camera and a little more animation :/
Thanks for playing, and for the feedback! There was actually camera movement, but it had to be disabled in the last week for gamebreaking issues. Definitely taking the animation requests into account tho too.
I was Lured by the beautiful cover art, of course the game turned out very good too, with very solid gameplay, I especially admire the artstyle, good job!
What a great game! You needs some work to make it more fluid and understandable but this is my kind of ****! I love the design too! It may need some animations though.
Heya! thanks much for playing, and for the feedback- I'm definitely working on that. Weirdly, the no animations was actually a choice and not a constraint- they'll meant to call back to paper dnd tokens, but I'm definitely thinking of at least adding some idles in haha
Even simple animations. It'll give a bit more life. At least some effect for the attacks.
The visuals and music are definitely the highlight of this game, I love the sprites and how its used reminds me of paper mario games. Definitely would prefer if what happened in a single turn was communicated more clearer though.

Awesome art and I can tell it's a really cool concept - the lack of feedback lets the game down a lot, it's really difficult to tell what's happening, who got hurt, who's dead, who's turn it is, etc..! Lots of potential!
