Ok difficult controls but beatiful game. In download version i had to press all keys to figure out the j key before anything would appear on screen. I did get the fatal error after killing pumkin.
Thank you for playing! Yeah, we could have improved the controls and the menu, specially for this kind of game but in PC. Sadly time defeated us so we just implemented the most basic elements. We're grateful with your feedback, with luck maybe we'll make an update in the future.

What a game!!! It will be nice to have more dynamic movements. They're to rigid in my opinion.
Thank you for playing!! are you referring to the movements of the bosses or Clare? If it's the first case, maybe we failed with the rythm of the game and the HP of the bosses, probably they were too slow. We implemented multiple attacks to the enemies, so if you defeated them so fast, maybe you didn't see all. We wanted to add more bosses with different styles, but time was not enough for us. If you're referring to Clare, technically it was on purpose, in comparison to other characters from our games (like ATLAS from PES DX Machine Slayer, who is a "movement god"), we wanted to make her with some limitations with the intention to make more interesting the avoiding of boss' attacks. After all, we're so grateful for your feedback!!!

Loved the art and visual in this entry, not going to lie, I had some issues starting the game as I never imagined that [j] was the key to use ahah other than that the game feels good and the mechanics are easy to grasp, Amazing entry! good Job!

Yup, I've only played the original PS2 Disgaea 1 but I really like the franchise
quite the interesting game, I admire the way you made narration and dialogue, very funny and adds to the experience, the controls are solid and the game plays well, and especially the graphics, the art is very beautiful and at he artstyle is very coherent, overall very visually pleasing, excellent work!

Loved the pixel art, the boss designs and the variety on weapons. The phase transition in the Angel Statue fight was really cool too!

Yeah, the transitions between phases were one of our resources to surprise the players, we'd like to have implemented more. Happy because you liked them.

I really like the world you are making here.
The player character's constant jokes about wanting alcohol made me chuckle.
The boss designs are interesting, each boss has an additional phase with new attacks + new art assets.
The weapons were nicely balanced as well, the homing blue bullets was my favorite.
Also, a nice touch to having the helmet of your main character (I think it is ATLAS?) from "Plotonium Explosive Smasher DX" in the background during the Death tutorial.
I would love to see a more polished version of this game, this has great potential! (Personally, this game ticks all the boxes that I like to see in a game.)

Thank you for playing! Despite giving all of our energy making this game, we forgot to fix a lot of details, but once the jam ends we'll probably begin working in a polished version (or maybe sooner).

IMPORTANT BUG WARNING!!!!
Hi. There's an important bug found in the game. When you defeat Pumpo with a proyectile attack, the game will crash. It doesn't mean that the game is over, we just commited a mistake and we are sorry for that. If that's not the case, you can continue fighting with bosses. As it only happens with the first boss, if you are lucky and you avoid it you can continue. We'll probably fix it later once the Boss Rush Jam is over, in addition to other bugs that we could find. We'll agree your help and again, sorry for the problems.
Great game! Death handing off his duties to a mortal felt like something from Terry Pratchett book. It was pretty original to see people clinging to life using a giant vegetable :)
Art and sound were really good! So were the controls (got used to them by the end of tutorial).
Over all- I liked your game very much, and only have one gripe. It's really weird to use [j] key as enter in main menu. I thought something was broken in game. Tried to use enter, e, space, f, ctrl, shift. Nothing. Then pressed all the keys until I got [j]. After that the game was great, but it gives a weird first impression.
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, we made the menu like 10 minutes before the deadline, so we forgot to be clear with the options. Probably in a future update we can improve that.
