you must keep the generators spinning to charge up energy
Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?
Yes, the majority was but one of the songs was reused from an old pro0ject

Good use of assets here ! Like the concept.
Maybe I did not understand but the damage I did to the boss were very low.
I loved the concept of shooting the energy generators to keep them spinning to keep your energy up! very creative and subtle use of theme. the music was a bit jarring at first but I got into it as the first fight went on! I felt I wasn't doing any damage to the boss a lot of the time and didn't really understand why. ether way great work and I am surprised you don't have more ratings!
Hi There!
I'm going through the games as I find the time.
I tried yours as well and gave it a rating. ;)
My experience: game is cool, cat is cool. Once upon a time we had a very similar one (maybe Russian Blue!?) :D
Love the 3D + Pixelart mixture.
If you have the time, I'd really appreciate it if you could check out and rate mine as well. ๐
Thank you for the opportunity!
Keep it up! Wishing you the best! ๐
I like the air and ambient of this, you have done quite well, I specially appreciate the graphics that are fitting, isometric gameplay is not frequent and looks so nice, I rate graphics over the rest, but all is good, also if you have time, please rate my game, thanks!!
There's a child-friendly Dead by Daylight in here, but as it is, not very interesting to play or stay in.
Though not executed to its full potential, it's a golden idea, you should continue working on it.
performance and responsiveness was impressive. bossfight is a bit long for the amount of variety. i also want to learn to do the isometric aiming. was it difficult to implement? cover art got me here :D thanx for sharing :)
I made the aiming by shooting a raycast from the mouse position and pointing the player towards where it hit. You can do this using the project_ray_originl and project_ray_normal functions on the camera in godot
Love the art style and models. I really like the twin-stick-shooter style with 3d models. However- I found the gameplay a bit frustrating. I didn't feel solidly "in" the world if that makes sense. I think it was due to there being no collision with generators.
Also, the music on the first boss was a bit repetitive for me. I would add a bit more to the loop if possible. It would be nice to have some audio or visual indicator when the rail gun was ready to use- I know the meter is there, but it would be satisfying to have a cue when you could fire.
Overall, this is a solid entry. I'm a big fan of the purrlice.
You have the right direction. What I liked about this is that the gameplay didn't feel very clunky and it always kept you moving no matter what. The bosses' move sets were fun and unique from each other, but I found that their AI wandered from targeting the player, leaving me free to charge my generators. When they did target me, that was when it became fun.
Audio and visuals are lacking and there are inconsistent collision physics across the board, but it was fun enough for me to want to finish it. I could see this being a wildly fun game if expanded upon.
