Game's Take on the Theme
The Bosses are all bound to a mechanism that spins arms. These arms, while spinning, create a pattern for the motion of the boss.

Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?

Fun artstyle and noises XD
I like the steampunk buggies. Nice that you got to make a bunch :D

The mouse controls are cool, but better suited for mobile. At one point I got stuck in the corner because the jam buttons were on front (managed to get out by scrolling)

Simple and fun! A little hard to control with the mouse, but I got the hand of it after a big. Good job!

It seems to be very easy at first, but then it becomes difficult and fun the more complex the insects (or robots idk) become.

This game is quite fun the UI has some issues it looks like the environment other than that it is quite polished the sounds are pretty good as well. Great Job

Fun game, really like the visuals and boss design (although I got a coffess it took me a sec to see the play button), the sound effects are funny, but I think the game would have benefitted from some music (ofc)

Controls need some tunning but its nothing major, I could see this working very well in a touch screen, I'd consider making a mobile version!

Take care :D

I like the original concept you have here, the visuals are nice and the feel of the game is good, a lot into nature, I had some fun with this game really, also the intro adds more to this. I rate graphics, control, fun and music the most but all is great really, also, if you have some time, please, rate my game too, thanks!!!

I love the way it looks and the general aesthetic and it's probably my favourite game title of the jam, he is indeed handsome.

Simple controls so you can jump right into the fun, good job!

A really cool game! I really loved the visuals, especially the boss designs! The game pleasantly impressed me with its atmosphere and concept—it was an enjoyable experience. Great job!

I had a really fun time playing this game! The main mechanic is so fun and a clever interpretation of the jam's theme! 🌻🖤 GG

Godot user neat!

Took me a while to figure out how it worked, but once I did I had fun. The bosses slowly get harder, and by the time I reached the scorpion I was ready to give up but somehow defeated it... the spider though............ nah no thanks. And if I interpret this gameover screenshot correctly I assume there is yet another boss and just seeing the design I know how much I would hate fighting it. Can't believe you managed to make so many bosses XP

Overall I think this is a very strong submission gameplay wise. The sounds though, are abominations D:

P.S.: OH CRAP I only noticed how the gear arms relate to how the bosses move after reading the other comments! Very cool!

Great game! The visuals are outstanding. The movement mechanic were a bit off, but with some practice you get use to it. Congrats on a great looking and fun game for a game jam. Loved the aesthetics most.

Cool game!

Cool idea and implementation, everything was at a good level, except for the sound where some kind of sound track was really missing. And the game is so addictive!

Cute and fun little game! I loved how creative the patterns and movements of the bosses were. The art is also very beautiful!

What a cute fun came you got there, I killed many bosses! You got some cool spin mechanics! Need to plan the attack though!

Feel free to try ours if you have time.

Just perfect, I love the draw art direction as it feel like playing a comicbook?? Awesome!

Pretty cool take on the theme, and the gameplay loop felt very nice too! I'd bet this would make a great mobile game with some additional polish!

I love the creativity in this game! I really liked the bosses, and I loved the visuals and the aesthetic. It reminded me of a flash game I would play as a kid. I really enjoyed the gameplay, but I felt it was missing new mechanics, and it was a bit glitchy. Overall, a really nice game!

Michel Bush

Too handsome to not be a 10/10!

very creative interpretation of boss behavior. i can see this being expanded with more varieties of arms and gears (+ other mechanisms) to create a wider variety of bosses.

the gradual escalation in difficulty makes it very approachable as a boss rush. if you tweak the controls (maybe only launch the player when you let go of the button) and the physics a bit, this game could make for a great beginner's boss game.

I really enjoyed the art and writing for this game. Michel Bush truly is the brave and handsome hero that we need.
