How does your game fit the theme?
The player tries to get a probe as deep as possible, with only minor movement and limited energy for executing actions.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
No third party assets where used in this project.
For the stone objects i followed a tutorial, link in game description.
As a beginner with C#, i sometimes needed to look for examples online , but nothing was copied 1:1.

Interesting concept, and I liked the art and audio paired with it! I will point out, like some others have, that the controls didn't really properly work for me and felt unnatural. I think the game could benefit a lot from cutting down on that and finding a simpler approach. Otherwise, nice game :)
Simple but interesting game design. A good project for a starter. Keep it up!
Good idea for a game. Simple graphics and mechanics. Missing music effects
Interesting game, I like the high score system of trying to get as far down as possible, and it's cool that there's a replayable aspect to the game since you get more energy relative to your best depth, though I don't know if it feels significant enough of a energy boost to matter.
I think one thing that could make the game more fun is reworking the controls, as they feel kind of weird; Q and E to rotate probably could've been A and D, or the left/right arrow keys, as that feels more natural. There's also a lot of mechanics to control; I know the controls are listed on the side, but I think simplifying the mechanics would make it easier to play, as I only need to keep track of a few keys at a time.
Overall though, this is a really solid game for your first game jam, well done! Great job on submitting this entry!
Nice take on the theme and nice implementation, I especially liked the gfx!
Nice idea, good implementation, enjoyed it! I think what could make this game a little more interesting is maybe upgrades which you get the resources for by getting deeper. Good job! Enjoyed it!
Unique and original game, nice
Was a bit confused about what to do, but after understanding, it was quite fun! My best is -472.45m
The game is fun. it took me some time . and the sound effect when it collided with a stone. its so satisfying 😍.The over all game looks so cool.
Nice game, i did not get exactly how i could go deeper at first, but i quickly managed to reach WAY deeper ! Not an easy game but the more you play the funnier it gets ! Nice work
What a cool and unique concept! Loved the sound effects! I would suggest adding some music and making it a little easier to get unstuck from flat surfaces. Great job and congrats on your first game jam submission!
Never before has a game made me fear flat surfaces before. Really enjoyed it.
As a lot of ppl commented on, the controls are a bit hard to learn (too many things to do in a short time frame).
Once you're stuck on a flat surface it's nearly impossible to get out. I guess you have to memorize where those flat surfaces are and avoid them ahead of time on the next run.
The extremely limited energy is a good take, and provides an unique challenge, compared to other "diving deeper and avoid obstacles" games. I really liked that.
Some music would be great. Also sound effects/particles when you boost or hit something would make the game feels much better.
Overall, a fun game to play. Notice that it's your first game, you did a great job. Well done!
Yeah, i learned, that it´s a real challenge to remind, how the player feel´s, when he start´s the game the first time. After dozens of playtest´s my controls felt rlly good, but yeah.. just for myself. Definetly trying to have that better in my mind next time.
Music and some VFX would be nice, but time just ran out, and i had to cut out those attempts. Maybe i can polish the game a little bit after the jam and add some of those, so thanks alot for your honest feedback! Feels good, that other people have some fun with my game :)
