Was there anything else to do except grab fish? There was a health number, but I never saw it take damage. The fish seemed to keep respawning endlessly so it didn't seem like there was an end objective of grabbing ALL of the fish. The tile set is very nice!

The controls are a bit slow, but that's expected in a game about a submarine ^^. The graphics are nice, but I would have enjoyed a couple of sounds to add to the atmosphere.
I think I went everywhere, but I couldn't find a way to lose HP... I don't know if it's a bug or if I missed enemies? Also, do the game has an ending? I collected a thousand fish but nothing happened, so I stopped playing, did I miss anything?
Overall, it's a chill and cosy game. I would have liked a clear objective and some sounds, but I enjoyed the little time I spent on it. Congratulations =)
You can lose HP when you go in an area with enough pressure to damage you, the amount of pressure you can withstand is determined by your (hidden) level. Gathering 10 fishes will make you level up so you probably went to level 2 before going deep enough.
We had some goals in mind but due to time constraints we could really implement them, I'm planning to do an update after the jam to fix some stuff and add something.
Nice and cozy, liked the controls. Can agree with some other comments about a goal, and after a while it also seemed like I couldn't loose HP any more (got down to 70 and then it didn't go down no matter how I hit the surroundings). Good job!
You basically level up after gettin 10 fishes then can resist the second level of pressure, we were planning to add more levels but time ran out. You can restore health by going to the surface but it's not really necessary in this version.
Nice game, but I would love to see a main menu screen and some submarine animations!

interesting game, graphics are neat, but it seems to be lacking some kind of goal, i feel that if you find a goal for your game and expand on that, it'l prop be a lot more enjoyable
We had to simplify the idea a bit since one of us couldn't work on the game (he had some problem with his irl job), the goal was to either find something lore-related or a boss at the end of the abyss but we never went that far in this version.
Graphics are ok, but you need to make some animation, at least flip the submarine when you go to the right.
We actually had animations ready but there were only 2 hours left, I opened the animator logic then I realised that I forgor everything about how it worked then closed everything and went to sleep lol
ther is no real goal for the game and the controls frrl slugich
